Während die Benzindämpfe von hier aus durch das Rohr J, nachdem der Hahn g geöffnet ist, in den Condensator K aufsteigen, scheiden sich die aufgelösten Fettbestandtheile ab, welche alsdann durch den Ablafshahn O dem Gefäfs C entnommen werden können. Die Dämpfe steigen, wie oben erwähnt, in den Condensationsapparat K und werden durch Spritzwasser, das man je nach Bedarf durch Hähne hj h2 hB Zz4 oder auch durch mehrere einführt, condensirt. Die Condensationsproducte, das Benzin etc. fliefsen alsdann mit dem Wasser durch das Ueberflufsrohr e in das Sammelgefäfs i7, von wo das Wasser durch das Rohr m continuirlich abfliefst und das Benzin sich zur weiteren Verwendung oben ansammelt. Durch diese Art der Condensation wird verhindert, dafs Benzindämpfe verloren gehen, was bei allen Apparaten mit Kühlschlangen, Doppelgefä'fsen und complicirten Rohrleitungen nicht zu vermeiden ist. Man arbeitet also hierbei fast ohne jeglichen Benzinverlust.
