Wie anhand der Fig. 1 erkennbar ist, weist der Deckel 2 eine nahezu rechteckige Grundfläche auf, wobei lediglich die vier Eckbereiche 8 des Deckels 2 mit geringfügigen Radien versehen sind. Anhand der Fig. 1 ist auch erkennbar, daß das Behälterunterteil 3 und demzufolge auch sein umlaufender Behälterrand 7 in den Eckbereichen 8 des Deckels 2 mit wesentlich größeren Radien versehen sind und demzufolge in höherem Maße abgerundet sind, so daß sich eine nahezu ovale Form des Behälterrandes 7 des Behälterunterteiles 3 ergibt. Die Eckbereiche 8 des Deckels 2 ragen daher weiter über den Behälterrand 7 hinaus als die Längs- und Schmalseiten des Deckels 2 und bilden Griffecken zum einfachen Anheben des Deckels 2 aus seinem dicht aufgesetzten Zustand.The lid 2 has a relatively wide, all-round container rim 6, which is provided with a vertically downwardly angled edge web on its outer edge. Die elastische Dichtung 9 weist einen etwa rechtwinklig nach unten abragenden Dichtabschnitt 10, 11 auf, der etwa auf halber Höhe an seiner Außenseite mit einer umlaufenden Dichtlippe 11 versehen ist. Unterhalb der Dichtlippe 11 ist der Dichtabschnitt der elastischen Dichtung 9 mit einem Zentrierprofil 10 versehen, das einstückiger Teil des Dichtabschnittes ist und sich zur Behältermitte hin mit seiner Außenseite keilförmig verjüngt. Dadurch bildet die umlaufende Außenseite des Zentrierprofiles 10 eine Zentrierschräge, die an dem Innenradius 13 und an der Innenseite des Behälterrandes 7 beim Aufsetzen des Deckels 2 entlanggleitet und gewährleistet, daß die elastische Dichtung 9 sich umlaufend an der Behälterinnenwandung anlegt. Durch das Zentrierprofil 10 wird vermieden, daß die elastische Dichtung 9 beim Aufsetzen des Deckels 2 versehentlich nach außen umklappt. Der gesamte Dichtabschnitt der elastischen Dichtung 9 verjüngt sich insgesamt keilförmig, wobei ein oberhalb der Dichtlippe 11 befindlicher Bereich des Dichtabschnittes exakt rechtwinklig zur Unterseite des Dekkels 2 verläuft. Dieser Bereich geht in einen Stützabschnitt 12 über, der durch einen Radius gebildet ist, der identisch zu dem Innenradius 13 des Behälterrandes 7 gestaltet ist.
