Da bei einem Kleidungsstück erfahrungsgemäß das Vorderteil zuerst unbrauchbar wird, mußte bisher diese Textilie in einem Stück entsorgt werden. Mit dem hier vorgeschlagenen austauschbaren Vorderteil wird eine Weiternutzung ermöglicht. Ein weiterer Vorteil besteht in der Reduzierung des erforderlichen Urlaubsgepäcks und des Platzbedarfes im Wäschefach. Anstelle von 7 Pullovern ist dann nur Platz für einen und 6 dazugehörige Austauschelemente zu schaffen.
Zum Austauschen der Elemente werden diese Trennelemente gelöst. Ein Teil des Trennelementes verbleibt dabei am Grundkörper und der andere Teil am auszuwechselnden Element. Danach wird ein einzusetzender Einsatz, an dessen Seiten sich wiederum das Gegenstück des Trennelementes zum Grundkörper befindet, eingesetzt und die Trennelemente verbunden.
Die verschiedenen bisher nicht genannten Kragenfunktionen befinden sich jeweils am Austauschteil.
