Multi-piece piece of jewellery

The invention relates to a multi-part piece of jewelry according to the preamble of claim 1.

The brooches and earrings used for comparison have standard "brisures" (finished parts) that are available in specialist shops and are attached to the back of the jewelry. Based on this state of the art, the invention was based on the task of creating a type of fastening for jewelry that integrates the functional parts into the design of the piece of jewelry.

The problem is solved with the features listed in claim 1.

The invention makes it possible to mass-produce earrings that allow for a large-scale design without tipping over on the ear, as would be the case with a prefabricated pin with a screw lock.

The functional parts are an essential part of the aesthetics of the jewelry and not a foreign body that needs to be hidden, as is the case with a stud or clip earring.

The principle of the mechanism is versatile. It can be used not only as earring and pin jewelry, but also in a modified form as a clothing and bag fastener.

In the following, the invention is explained in more detail using exemplary embodiments shown in the figures.

Description of implementation examples

A multi-part jewelry according to the invention can be constructed and manufactured as follows.

Two curved sheets, 1,2, with a wavy surface, are placed with their convex sides facing each other and lie on top of each other, Fig.2.

The wave-shaped surface prevents the parts from slipping lengthwise. Instead, the surface could also be jagged or only perforated on one side or not at all, which, however, makes it difficult for the parts to roll off evenly or to lock them in the desired position.

The parts 1, 2 each have a slotted hole, 7, in the middle, through which a limiting ring, 6, of the same width is guided, Fig. 1.

This device is not absolutely necessary, but has the advantage that the lateral displacement of the two corrugated sheets 1, 2 towards each other is prevented. At the same time, the limiting ring 6 fulfills the function of a slider for the elastic means 3-5 and prevents the elastic means from being pushed beyond the end of the corrugated sheets, which would cause the jewelry to fall apart.

Other profiles, such as a rectangle, triangle or polygon, can also be used for the limit ring. It just has to give the elastic elements enough room to move up and down.

An elastic means is guided through the limiting ring, 6, and around the corrugated sheets 1,2. This can be composed of the following parts, Fig.4:

Two round rubber profiles, 5, are glued at their ends into short pipe sections, 4. These two elements are glued in a U-shape into two further pipe sections, 3, Fig. 5, which are guided through the limiting ring, 6, and lie opposite each other in a wave of parts 1, 2. The elastic means press the two corrugated sheets together. However, they still have enough room for expansion to overcome the next wave with a little pressure. The elastic means could also consist of just a closed elastic ring, for example made of rubber, without rollers or with just one roller.
This would have the disadvantage of higher wear and tear and less good guidance properties.

In the upper part of part 1, a pin, 8, is attached in the middle at a 90° angle to the surface, which protrudes towards the inside of the earring, Fig.2.

It has a locking mechanism in the form of a recess in the second corrugated sheet, 2, e.g. a hole, 9, in the middle at the same height as the pin, 8, Fig.4.

Alternatively, adhesive surfaces protruding on both sides can be used as a fastening device, e.g.

Rubber buffers can be attached, with which the jewelry can be clamped to the carrier medium (earlobe, fabric, etc.), Fig.6.

If the limiting ring is pushed downwards using the elastic means, 3-5, the gap between the parts 1,2 in the upper area widens due to the curved corrugated sheets rolling over each other, Fig.2.

The pin, 8, can be guided through the ear hole, or the carrier medium to be clamped is brought into position.

If the limiting ring 6 is now pushed up again, the space between parts 1, 2 narrows in the upper area and the pin 8 is locked or the carrier medium is clamped.

Claims (1)

Protection claims Multi-part piece of jewelry for attachment to a suitable carrier medium, e.g. fabric edge or perforation of the skin, with a fastening device, characterized in that it consists of at least two parts (1, 2), of which at least one has a convex curved surface, each of which faces inwards and these are connected to one another via an elastic means (3-5) (Fig. 4), whereby when the elastic means move along the parts, an open or closed state of the piece of jewelry results (Fig. 2, 3), which completes its function by a fastening device located between the parts (8, 9), so that the carrier medium to be decorated is bound by the space between the parts, which is narrowed in the closed state, and the fastening device located between them. Multi-part piece of jewelry according to claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the elastic means (5) are guided by roller-shaped elements (3) which can be fixed in the wave-shaped surface under the action of the elastic means (Fig. 4) and thus enable locking of the space between the parts (1, 2). Multi-part piece of jewelry according to claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the elastic means (3-5) are enclosed by a limiting ring (6) which is guided in an elongated hole (7) of the parts (1, 2) and thus prevents the lateral displacement of these parts and preferably serves as a lever for moving the elastic means. Multi-part piece of jewelry according to claims 1 to 6, characterized in that in the upper area of the part (1) a pin (8) is attached at a 90° angle to the surface (Fig.4), for which a fastening option, e.g. a hole (9) on the opposite surface (2) is provided in order to be able to use the piece as ear jewelry.
