The invention relates to a device for receiving door elements or similar surface parts according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such devices are used in showrooms or sales rooms in order to be able to present different door elements or other surface parts, such as windows, individually to prospective buyers and at the same time to ensure that only a small amount of space is required for the door elements or the like in storage.

It is known to provide a top support rail for the door elements within a frame, on which the door elements are held so that they can move below the support rail. However, the support rails then extend far into the room, and the frame holding the support rails also overlaps the door elements in both the storage and presentation positions.

The invention is based on the problem of designing a receiving device for the storage and individual presentation of door elements and the like in such a way that

that it requires little space and at the same time enables a visually appealing individual presentation of the door elements.

The invention solves this problem by a device having the features of claim 1. With regard to further advantageous embodiments, reference is made to claims 2 to 7.

The device according to the invention holds the doors in the storage position within the outer contour of the frame, the width of which does not exceed the width of the door elements held or only slightly exceeds it. If the door elements are arranged at an angle in the frame, the width of the frame can be less than the width of individual door elements. In the extended presentation position, the door hangs completely freely in front of the frame, is not overlapped by it on the top, but is only held on the pull-out part of the support rail. This can be designed to be visually appealing, for example by treating the surface or by using stainless steel, brass or the like.

When presenting a door leaf, it is particularly advantageous to mount it in the front profiles of its door frame, so that the visual impression of the door is not limited to the door leaf alone, but rather it is presented as it will later appear in the installed position. The opposing front profiles are placed directly in front of each other and attached to a fastening element. For this, holes only need to be drilled in the door frame, while the door leaf, which is connected to the front profiles of the door frame via hinges, remains undamaged.

The device 1 has a preferably open frame 2, which comprises upper and lower longitudinal profiles 3, 4 and 5 as well as vertical profiles 6 connecting them and transverse horizontal profiles 7. A closed frame 2 is also conceivable, but the open design increases the visual attractiveness.

In the upper area of the frame 2, support rails 8 are held, which are made up of several parts and comprise a pull-out part 9 that can be moved outside the outline of the frame 2 for holding door elements 10. The number of support rails 8 arranged on a frame 2 is variable.

The pull-out part 9 has a longitudinal extension that essentially corresponds to the width of the door element 10 held by it, so that this door element 10 can be moved completely in front of the frame in a presentation position so that the customer can see the door 10 in its full width. The door leaf 11 of the door 10 is held in front profiles 12, 13 of its door frame via hinges 14, so that the door 10 can be opened and closed in the presentation position.

The front profiles 12, 13 are secured to a connecting bracket 16 or a similar fastening element via a screw connection 15 that passes through them, which in turn is held on the extension part 9 of the support rail 8. The door leaf 10 therefore does not have to be penetrated by fastening elements 15 or 16 and remains undamaged. In addition to being held by the fastening elements 16 on the extension part 9 of the support rail 8, the door 10 is guided laterally on guide rollers 5 in the lower area, so that tipping or jamming is impossible.

Instead of the top-side fixing to the support rail 8, a bottom-side support rail with top-side guidance is also possible. The support rails 8 are arranged at an angle in the frame 2 so that the width 17 of the frame 2 is less than the width 18 of the door 10. This makes the frame 2 particularly space-saving. A parallel arrangement of the support rails 8 to the lateral cross profiles 7 is basically possible.

In any case, the doors 10 are arranged in a staggered manner next to one another and can be moved individually from the storage position held completely within the outline of the frame 2 to a presentation position essentially completely outside the frame. For comparison, several doors can be in the presentation position at the same time.

The support rail 8 is designed to be telescopic to enable extension, whereby the extension part 9 can be mounted, for example, via rollers 20 on the fixed part 21 of the support rail 8 connected to the frame 2. Stops can be provided to limit the extension. The support rail does not have to be designed in two parts as in the example shown, but can comprise several parts that can be moved relative to one another.

Claims (7)

Expectations 1. Device (1) for receiving door elements (10) or similar surface parts which are aligned parallel to one another in a vertical storage position and can each be moved forward individually into the presentation position, each door element (10) being assigned a support rail (8) which at least holds the door element and extends in the plane of movement and is fixed to a frame (2), characterized in that the support rail (8) is designed in several parts and comprises a pull-out part (9) which can be moved outside the outline of the frame (2) for holding the door element (10). 2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the pull-out part (9) has a longitudinal extension (17) corresponding substantially to the width (18) of the door element (10) and the latter can be moved at least almost completely in front of the frame (2). 3. Device according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the support rail (8) extends above the respective door element (10) and the latter is attached to the support rail (8) in a hanging manner. 4. Device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a respective door element (10) comprises a door leaf (11) which is received in front profiles (12; 13) of its door frame. 5. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the front profiles (12; 13) are fixed to the pull-out part (9) via fastening elements (15; 16) which pass through them. 6. Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the device (1) has underside guides for the door leaves (11). 7. Device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the door leaves (11) in the device (1) are arranged staggered next to one another.
