Die Erfindung betrifft ein Zeichen-, Namen- oder Nummernschild für nicht veränderliche Informationen, insbesondere ein Schild zur Kennzeichnung von industriellen Anlagen, vorzugsweise in der chemischen Industrie.The invention relates to a sign, name or number plate for non- changeable information, in particular a plate for identifying industrial plants, preferably in the chemical industry.
In industriellen Anlagen, insbesondere der chemischen Industrie, müssen zum Beispiel Rohrleitungen von außen in deutlicher Weise dauerhaft gekennzeichnet sein; hierzu werden Schilder verwendet, die in deutlich lesbarer Schrift die erforderlichen Informationen tragen und die in geeigneter Weise an den Anlagenteilen befestigt werden. Um diese Informationen dauerhaft zu sichern, müssen solche Schilder gegen leichte Säuren und Laugen, gegen Lösungsmittel sowie UV-Strahlung resistent sein.In industrial plants, especially in the chemical industry, for example, pipes must be clearly and permanently marked on the outside; for this purpose, signs are used that carry the necessary information in clearly legible writing and are attached to the plant components in a suitable manner. Dadurch sind Auskreidungen, Vergilbungen, Abstumpfungen der Farben die Regel. Aufdrucke durch Nitrofarben oder wasserlösliche Farben werden durch Berührung mit Lösungsmitteln schlecht oder gar nicht mehr lesbar. Schilder mit eingravierten Informationen erfahren durch das spanende Verfahren der Gravur eine Entspannung der Oberfläche und werden im Alter anfällig für Bruchschäden bei längeren Kälteperioden. Die vertiefte Gravur kann sich außerdem mit Staub und Schmutz füllen, wodurch wiederum die Erkennbarkeit der Informationen gemindert oder aufgehoben wird.Such signs are usually either engraved or printed; the surface is unprotected and can be attacked by a wide variety of substances. Der Grundgedanke der Erfindung besteht darin, daß die Informationen nicht mehr, wie bislang üblich, unmittelbar auf die Grundplatte, sondern auf eine rückseitig selbstklebend beschichtete Trägerbahn aufgetragen und mittels dieser auf die Oberfläche der Grundplatte übertragen werden. Hinzu kommt noch die Abdeckung der Informationen durch eine Schutzschicht aus transparentem Material, die nicht nur die die Informationen tragende Oberfläche der Trägerbahn, sondern auch deren seitliche Ränder und diejenigen der Grundplatte überdeckt, um so zu verhindern, daß im Laufe der Zeit etwa von den Stirnseiten des Schildes her aggressive Stoffe in die offenen Fugen zwischen den einzelnen Lagen des Schildes eindringen können.
