Abstract

The training machine which exerts an even or irregular torque on the muscles to be exercised includes levers which execute a circular movement about the point of rotation so that the cable (or chain or belt) rolls down over rollers, and lifts counterweight. A semicircular disc remains stationary and only the lever draws the cable over the rollers. By adjusting the length of the lever the training machine can be used for exercising all groups of muscles. The handles can be exchanged for padded foot elements or the like.
