Abstract

The regulating system uses a single input signal, combined with a signal dependent on the rotation of the drive motor to provide a control signal. This is supplied to a control circuit comprising the drive motor, the hydrostatic transmission, the load and additional load coupled directly to the motor in a regulating loop. The single control signal, i.e. the differential pressure at a throttle point in the control circuit, is used to derive several setting signals for the control elements according to the state of the drive. These states include partial and limit loading, and normal and emergency braking.
