Abstract

The fluid transport cable is esp. for a heating medium. The cable has an inner tube for the medium and insulation is placed between the inner tube and outer tube. A signal conductor is placed outside inner tube for fault location. The signalling system is not triggered by spurious conditions e.g. condensed water. The signal conductors (17) are provided with spacers for ensuring a certain distance from the inner tube (11). Those spacers are threaded on the conductor wire and are in contact. The spacer heads can be spherical or hexagonal. The signal conductor with its beads can be wound helically around the inner tube.
