Abstract

The reinforced concrete pile is made by drilling a hole in the ground which is filled with concrete which is subsequently compacted. This work can be carried out at any site and in places difficult for access. In the first instance a borehole is formed with a diameter smaller than that of the pile to be made. The compacting of the concrete is carried out in the borehole which is provided with embedded reinforcements. A pneumatic impact tool is used and the borehole is widened to the specified dimensions of the pile. The tubular wire mesh reinforcement placed in the borehole has tubular shape and it is deformed radially.
