Kreist dann aber in solchen leerlaufenden Abteilungen nur das Putzgut allein, also ohne Sichtgut, so werden dadurch erfahrungsgemäß die Siebbespannungen in kurzer Zeit beschädigt und dadurch unbrauchbar gemacht. Die bisherigen Plansichter sind nun allerdings mit Ablauföffnungen zum gänzlichen Entfernen des Putzgutes in solchen Fällen versehen. Da dies aber nur während des Betriebes gemacht werden kann, so wird erfahrungsgemäß dabei viel Putzgut auf dem Boden zerstreut. Auch erfordert es besondere Geschicklichkeit des ausführenden Arbeiters. Sobald aber eine entleerte Sichtabteilung wieder in Betrieb kommt, muß wieder Putzgut in dieselbe eingefüllt werden.
