Während nun bekannte Vorrichtungen dieser Art in der Weise arbeiten, daß der Zigarettenpapierstreifen und der zu diesem quer oder auch parallel laufende, das Mundstückmaterial zuführende Unterlagstreifen bei jedesmaligem Aufpressen des Mundstückmaterials ihren Lauf unterbrechen und das festgeklebte Mundstückblättchen bei Weiterbewegung des Zigarettenpapierstreifens von dem durch einen stumpfen Drücker noch zurückgehaltenen übrigen Mundstückmaterial abgerissen wird, ist die Einrichtung und Arbeitsweise des Erfindungsgegen-Standes eine solche, daß der Zigarettenpapierstreifen während des Aufdrückens des Mundstückblättchens und Abtrennen desselben vom übrigen Mundstückmaterial ohne Unterbrechung fortlaufen kann und das Andrücken des Mundstückmaterials an den Zigarettenpapierstreifen mittels des Stempels unmittelbar zwischen den messerscharfen Kanten eines beweglichen, sich flach an den Zigarettenpapierstreifen anlegenden und dabei den Überschuß des Mündstückmaterials gegen den Zigarettenpapier- streifen hin abdeckenden Schneidrahmen bewirkt wird, der dann zugleich mit dem Stempel vom Zigarettenpapier zurücktritt und dabei den abgedeckten Überschuß des Mundstückmaterials scharf an den Grenzen des festgeklebten Mundstückblättchens von diesem abtrennt.
