Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wasserstandszeiger mit prismatischem Schauglase für Dampfkessel
u. dgl. und besteht darin, daß das innerhalb eines Hahnkegels angeordnete Schauglas
mit dem Hahnkegel so gedreht werden kann, daß es während des Betriebes am Kessel auch

Die Erfindung ist in Fig. 1 bis 3 im Höhenschnitt, Vorderansicht und Querschnitt dargestellt.
Fig. 4 und 5 zeigen zwei verschiedene Hahnkegelstellungen im Querschnitt. In dem
mit dem Inneren des Kessels K verbundenen Gehäuse G ist ein Hahnkegel h und in diesem
das Schauglas g angeordnet, welches mittels einer geeigneten Dichtungsmasse durch den
Keil k mit der Schraube s gegen den Hahnkegel h abgedichtet wird. Durch diese Anordnung
ist es möglich, wie in Fig. 4 dargestellt, das Schauglas g gegen das Innere des Kessels
abzusperren und während des Betriebes nach Abnehmen des Stopfens ν auszuwechseln. Bei
einer Stellung des Hahnkegels h nach Fig. 5 ist die Innenseite des Schauglases g unter Abschluß
des Kesselinneren nach außen gekehrt und kann so auch während des Betriebes vom Schmutz gereinigt werden.The invention is shown in Fig. 1 to 3 in vertical section, front view and cross section. 4 and 5 show two different cock cone positions in cross section.
