Der Brenner setzt sich aus einem im Hinterende des Eisens stehend angebrachten Verdampfer und dem damit verbundenen Heizkörper, dem Brennerrohr, zusammen. Dieses Verdampferrohr ist mit dem Unterende in einen Dampfsammeikasten b gesetzt. Das Unterende des Verdampferrohres ist zweckentsprechend mit einem bauchigen Ende versehen,. und der Boden c des Sammelkastens ist auch entsprechend nach unten ausgebaucht. Das Unterende des Verdampferrohres mündet mit einer Öffnung d in den Sammelkasten, und dieser wieder öffnet sich mit einem nahe der Decke gelegenen Rohr gegen den eigentlichen Heizkörper, den Brenner e, welcher abnehmbar vor den Sammelkasten gesetzt ist. Dieser Brenner besteht aus einem längeren Heizkörper f, vorteilhaft mit flacher Decke, welcher sich in das Bügeleisen hinein erstreckt, und dieser Körper ist gegen den Dampfsammeikasten gegabelt und umfaßt den Kasten mit zwei nach hinten offenen Armen g, welche die Luftzuführung bilden. ■ Der nach vorn gerichtete Brenner ist in an sich bekannter Weise durch eine nicht ganz bis zum Vorderende reichende Zunge h in einen oberen und unteren Kanal zerlegt.
