Abstract

A method for producing planted areas on a scale model has various types of greenery as small tufts supplied on a waxed foil (1). The tufts (2) are easily removed with tweezers and transferred to the model where they are secured with dabs of adhesive. Various types of tufts are used to simulate different types of trees, bushes and other vegetation. A variation has water activated adhesive applied to the tufts before setting onto the foil.

Künstliche Bepflanzung für Modelllandschaften zur Nachbildung kleinteilig bewachsener Flächen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Begrünungsmaterial (2) auf einer glatten, wachsartigen, wenig haftenden Folie (1) in beliebigen Formen aufgebracht ist und vom Anwender in kleinen Gruppen oder einzeln entnommen werden kann. 1.
