Abstract

Multi-component injection molding tool for molding soft and hard components onto a prefabricated part has two transport systems for movement of molding cassettes moved into, around and out of the tool. The tool cavities (4) hold cassettes (2) for molding hard and soft material components. A first transporting system moves cassettes inside the tool (3), more specifically into a cavity for injection of the first component (H) and then to a second cavity for injecting the second component(W) onto the first component. A second transporting system feeds cassettes into the tool and removes cassettes after both injection stages. Slides are located in the cavity for molding the first component and/or in the cavity for molding the second component.

Claims (5)
