Einarbeiten dieser Dekore ist bei den erwähnten Materialien z. T. aufwändig. Deshalb werden vereinzelt andere Materialien wie z. B. Papier als flächiges Material für die Herstellung solcher Waren benutzt, auf welchen wegen ihrer größeren Porosität Dekore leichter aufgebracht werden können.
