Abstract

A warp knitting machine has an array of needles which swivel about an axis on a supporting shaft, and lifting hooks which rise and fall on a shaft. The hooks (11) move on a track (19) through an angle alpha of at least 45[deg]C, passing through the needle (7) arc of motion. The length of the lifting hook (12) lever is no more than 100 mm, when the distance between the shaft (14) centreline and hook (11) is X. The line (20) between the hook (11) and shaft axis (13) is at least 50[deg]c. The hook shaft (14) and needle shaft (9) are in a single horizontal plane. Claims (7)

Kettenwirkmaschine mit Wirknadeln, die mit Hilfe von Nadelbarrenhebeln um die Achse einer Nadeltrag welle verschwenkbar sind, und Einschlußplatinen, die mit Hilfe von Platinenhebeln um die Achse einer Platinentragwelle verschwenkbar sind, dadurch ge kennzeichnet , daß die Bewegungsbahn ( 19 ) der Ein schlußplatinen ( 11 ) in mindestens einem Abschnitt einen Winkel (α) von maximal 45° mit der Bewegungs bahn der Wirknadeln ( 7 ) einschließt. 1.
