Technical problem:

The existing grave irrigation systems are underground and are installed at shallow depths far above frost protection. Since they are installed underground, the tightness of these systems is not verifiable. In case of sudden loss of water due to a defect of the underground container, the supply of the plants is not guaranteed. Solution:

The above-ground irrigation system provides enough water and fertilizer through a 20 liter container by gravity for 3-5 weeks, depending on the prevailing temperatures and the number of plants to be supplied. Irrigated was an urn grave with a prototype for the supply of 3 Plants. The water tank is in the tomb. It is a hollow plastic body with the dimensions W 58 cm, H 43 cm and T 20 cm. The wall thickness is 1.2 cm. It has the structure of carved granite, but can also be provided with a mineral granite plaster. The water tank is filled via an enclosed funnel and is accessible via a lid on the tomb. The lid is connected to the tomb by two stainless steel hinges and can be opened to the front. The lid of the tomb can be closed with a padlock. The water tank is filled from the back. Alternatively, the hinges can also be attached to the back of the tomb, depending on the circumstances in the cemetery. At the bottom of the water tank there is an outlet for the water, which supplies the plants with water.
