Um eine kostengünstige Massenfertigung und Lagerhaltung zu ermöglichen, wird dabei zweckmäßig ein Standardkabelschuh eingesetzt. Eine für die Herstellung der Schweißverbindung des Kabelschuhs mit dem elektrischen Leiter eingesetzte Schweißmaschine muss dabei nur einmalig auf die geometrischen, thermischen und ggf. elektrischen Parameter der zu verschweißenden Komponenten, hier also des Kabelschuhs und des elektrischen Leiters, eingestellt werden. Die fahrzeugspezifische Anpassung der Kontakteinrichtung, wie beispielsweise an eine bestimmte Geometrie an dem vorgesehenen Einbauort der Kontakteinrichtung, erfolgt durch ein zusätzliches fahrzeugspezifisch ausgestaltetes Kontaktteil der elektrischen Kontakteinrichtung, das nach Herstellen der Schweißverbindung zwischen dem Standardkabelschuh und dem elektrischen Leiter mit dem Kabelschuh verbunden wird. Dabei wird vorzugsweise eine Verbindungsart eingesetzt, die die durch Ultraschallschweißen hergestellte Verbindung zwischen dem Kabelschuh und dem elektrischen Leiter nicht nachteilig beeinflusst. Als geeignete Verbindungsarten kommen insbesondere eine Schraubverbindung, eine Crimpverbindung oder auch eine Schmelzschweißverbindung in Betracht.
