Claims (12)

1. Elektrischer Steckverbinder für die Nachrichten- und Datentechnik mit einem Gehäuse (12) und mehreren Kontaktab­ schnitten (14a, 14b, 14c, 14d), die auf einer in Querrich­ tung des Steckverbinders verlaufenden geraden Linie liegen und für den Eingriff mit Gegenkontakten eines passenden Verbinders vorgesehen sind, wobei jeder Kontaktabschnitt (14a, 14v, 14c, 14d) mittels eines Kontaktarms (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) mit jeweils einem Anschlussabschnitt (18a, 18b, 18c, 18d) zum Anschließen von Kabeladern verbunden ist und jeweils zwei Anschlussabschnitte (18a, 18b) und zugeordnete Kontaktarme (16a, 16b) und Kontaktabschnitte (14a) ein Kon­ taktpaar bilden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in dem Gehäuse ein Schirmbauteil (20) mit wenigstens einer elektrisch leit­ fähigen ersten Trennwand (22) angeordnet ist, die zwischen Anschlussabschnitten (18a, 18b, 18c, 18d) und Teilen von Kontaktarmen (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) verschiedener Kontaktpaare angeordnet ist, wobei wenigstens die Kontaktarme (16b) eines ersten Kontaktpaares im Bereich einer Stirnseite der ersten Trennwand (22) abgebogen sind und vor der Stirnseite der ersten Trennwand (22) auf die Kontaktabschnitte (14b) zulau­ fen.1.
