Claims (11)

1. Butterfly valve with a housing ( 1 ) divided along a joint ( 6 ), which has a first part ( 1 a) with an inflow and a second part ( 1 b) with an outflow, and with a disk-shaped closing member ( 2 ) , which is rotatable by means of a shaft ( 3 ) running through the housing ( 1 ), and with a sealing ring ( 4 ) which seals the joint ( 6 ), for which purpose it is pressed between the housing parts ( 1 a, 1 b) and which has two opposite openings ( 7 , 8 ) for the passage of the shaft ( 3 ) and works as a valve seat with the disk-shaped closing member ( 2 ) for closing the valve, characterized in that the sealing ring ( 4 ) has a first ( 4 a) and has a second partial ring ( 4 b), wherein between the first ( 4 a) and second partial ring ( 4 b) there runs a separating surface which contains at least one of the openings ( 7 , 8 ) for the passage of the shaft ( 3 ).
2. Butterfly valve according to claim 1, characterized in that the separating surface contains both openings ( 7 , 8 ) for the passage of the shaft ( 3 ).
3. Butterfly valve according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sealing ring ( 4 ) is in a groove ( 5 ) in which the joint ( 6 ) between the first ( 1 a) and the second part ( 1 b) of the housing ( 1 ).
4. Butterfly valve according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the groove ( 5 ) is undercut.
5. Butterfly valve according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sealing ring ( 4 ) has an excess in relation to the inside width of the groove ( 5 ).
6. Butterfly valve according to claim 5, characterized in that the over dimension is 0.4 mm to 0.6 mm.
7. Butterfly valve according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sealing ring ( 4 ) in its dimensions perpendicular to the direction in which the valve is flowed through to the dimension of the groove ( 5 ) is made.
8. Butterfly valve according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the openings ( 7 , 8 ) of the sealing ring ( 4 ) for the shaft ( 3 ) are designed as elliptical recesses.

10. Butterfly valve according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the partial rings ( 4 a, 4 b) are the same.
11. Butterfly valve according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sealing ring ( 4 ) consists of a filled polytetrafluoroethylene.
