Claims (22)

1. Wirbelimplantat ( 1 ) zum Einsetzen in einen Wirbelzwischenraum, welches einen kastenförmigen, länglichen Grundkörper ( 2 ) aufweist, der zur Aufnahme von Knochenmaterial mit einem in seiner Höhenrichtung (H) durchgehenden Hohlraum ( 3 ) versehen ist, welcher von zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Längswänden ( 4 , 5 ) und von zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Stirnwänden ( 6 , 7 ) umgrenzt ist, deren querverlaufende freie Randflächen ( 8 , 8 ', 9 , 9 '; 10 , 10 ', 11 , 11 ') als Anlageflächen zwischen den Wirbeln (W) und dem Wirbelimplantat ( 1 ) dienen, wobei die beiden Stirnwände ( 6 , 7 ) des Hohlraums ( 3 ) unter Verbreiterung ihrer querverlaufenden freien Randflächen ( 8 , 8 ', 9 , 9 ') dicker ausgebildet sind als die beiden Längswände ( 4 , 5 ), wobei das Implant ( 1 ) aus einem faserverstärkten Kunststoffmaterial ist und wobei das Implantat außenseitig vorsprungsfrei ausgebildet ist. 12. intervertebral implant (1) for insertion into an intervertebral space, comprising a box-shaped, elongated base body (2) which is provided for receiving bone material having in its height direction (H) through cavity (3) extending from two opposing longitudinal walls (4, 5) and two opposite end walls (6, 7) is bounded, the transversely extending free edge surfaces (8, 8 ', 9, 9'; 10, 10 ', 11, 11') (as the contact surfaces between the vertebrae W) and the intervertebral implant (1) are used, wherein the two end walls (6, 7) of the cavity (3) under widening of its transverse free edge surfaces (8, 8 ', 9, 9') are made thicker than the two longitudinal walls (4 , 5), wherein the implant (1) is made of a fiber-reinforced plastic material, and wherein the implant is formed on the outside free of projections.
