B. ein vorausfahrendes KFZ sich mittlerweile über den nötigen Sicherheitsabstand (geschwindigkeitsabhängig) entfernt haben (es wird vom Messstrahl nichts mehr erfasst) schaltet sich das ganze Sicherheitssystem (inklusive Rotlicht) automatisch aus. Der große Vorteil dieser Erfindung beruht darauf, dass dieses System sofortige Sicherheit für das damit ausgestattete KFZ bringt nicht erst wenn mehrere oder alle KFZ damit ausgestattet sind (z. B. durch Gesetz). Gleichzeitig wirkt dieses Sicherheitssystem disziplinierend auf den KFZ Fahrer durch die automatische Abstandswarnung.
