Die Bohrung 16 dient zur Befestigung der Spannschiene 10 an einem hier nicht dargestellten Maschinenelement der Brennkraftmaschine, wobei die Spannschiene 10 auf dem nicht dargestellten Bolzen schwenkbar gelagert ist. Ein ebenfalls nicht dargestelltes Druckelement verleiht der Spannschiene die entsprechende Gegenkraft zur Spannung der Steuerkette. Die Schenkel 22 verleihen der Steuerkette die notwendige seitliche Führung. Wichtig ist, daß die beiden Materialien unmittelbar nacheinander eingespritzt werden, so daß das die Außenhaut 32 bildende Material beim Einspritzen des Materials des Kerns 30 noch schmelzflüssig ist. Dadurch bildet sich beim Erstarren zwischen den Materialien des Kerns 30 und der Außenhaut 32 eine stoffschlüssige Verbindung aus.
