Description
Tent skin for angular tents The innovation relates to the improved design of a tent skin for tents with an angular outline and especially small tents of triangular cross-section, such as those for example are used as protective tents for shaft work.
So far these tent skins have been made from canvas. Such Tent skins have various disadvantages, including poor rot resistance, excessive weight when damp and above all opacity belong. These well-known tent skins had to be dried after getting wet, Difficult to assemble and dismantle in rain and snow, but in damp and cold weather practically unwieldy due to icing and forced the tent occupants, even in daylight To have to work with inevitably primitive interior lighting.
All of these disadvantages of the previously known canvas tent skins become apparent eliminated by the innovation, which also creates special, additional advantages. The innovation accordingly consists of a tent skin for angular tents and is primarily characterized by the fact that it is made of fabric-reinforced, translucent Plastic films exists, which are arranged in at least two layers in areas at risk of friction, welded together along the double-layer edges and also at joints, z. B. along the edge, by a further, preferably bead-shaped weld seam to each other and are connected to the lower layer in the same material.
Fig. 1 shows a three-edged, collapsible one in perspective Tent, for example as a protective tent for work below street level, z. B. in line or cable ducts, is common. Such a protective tent exists from the tent skin 1 and the support frame 2, of which when placed Tent skin only the nuts tend to be visible. The support frame usually consists of Rod-shaped or tubular elements which extend at least along the tent edges are somehow detachably connected to each other .. With the design of this frame the present innovation has nothing to do.
The seam 10 forms a bulge weld. This double layer Edge zone offers the necessary frictional protection against the one lying in the edge angle Frame rod 2, which at the same time experiences a reinforced layer arrangement. How on reported above, but not shown, are in places on the reinforcement strip known holding means for the linkage 2, namely in the innovation according to training in the form of looped plastic tubings.
oberen Teil enden, also z.
From what has been said it can be clearly seen that the Tent skin in its entirety and without exception made of plastic material, preferably even consistently of the same chemical composition. As a result, there is no risk of corrosion and / or by foreign material, especially metal mechanical damage could result.
This property, along with the numerous, leaves at an earlier point The advantages described above make the tent skin an essential asset the technology of tent construction and related areas.
