Gemäß der Erfindung besteht die neue Verpackung aus einer jeweils in das zu verpackende Bekleidungsstück einzulegenden und diesem Bekleidungsstück entsprechend geformten Versteifungseinlage oder Stütze aus relativ starrem und unelastischem Material, aus einer das Bekleidungsstück mit der Versteifungseinlage oder stütze aufnehmenden, an drei Seiten geschlossenen und an der vierten Seite offenen Hülle aus nachgiebigem und durchsichtigem Material und aus einer die Hülle an der vierten offenen Seite abschließenden und gleichzeitig auoh die Versteitungseinlage oder stütze mit der Hülle fest und verhältnismäßig unverrückbar verbindenden und zweckmäßig auch zum Aufhängen der Verpackung dienenden Versohlußleiste oder einem entsprechenden Verschlußstreifen, vorzugsweise aus nachgiebigem Material. Die neue Verpackung hat den Vorteil, daß die Bekleidungsstücke durch die sie außen umgebende Hülle aus durchsichtigem undnachgiebigem Material vor Staub und Schmutz geschützt werden, wobei jedoch, die Runden das Bekleidungsstück gut von außen betrachten können, ohne es hierbei betästen zu können.
