Description

The invention relates to an oscilloscope so for the pictorial representation of sectional planes of a body by mapping the line by line Scan of the body with ultrasonic pulses received? " «Pcho impulses, with a line deflection system for the picture display tube, whose lines run each time is triggered (triggered) by a control pulse generated depending on the transmission pulse.

Der Elektronenstrahl der Röhre wird dann durch die jeweiligen Echoimpulse hellgetastet. so daß auf dem Röhrenbildschirm ein aus vielen Punkten bestehendes Schnittbild der abgetasteten Körperebene entsteht, wenn sich der Ultraschallkopf drehtIn order to be able to scan larger bodies line by line with ultrasonic pulses, it has been proposed (e.g. DT-PS 12 89 617), in a liquid container one cylindrical parabolic mirror and in its focal line slidable and rotatable one alternately as a transmitter and to arrange the receiver working ultrasound head. The body to be examined is in front of a with a film covered opening of the liquid container arranged. The ultrasonic impulses emitted by the transmitter hit the reflective inner wall of the parabolic reflector and then become parallel to each other in the direction of the body to be examined. After each emitted ultrasonic pulse is with simultaneous switching of the ultrasound head to reception for the body Coming reflection pulses start the line movement of the line deflection system of the picture display tube. The electron beam of the tube is then scanned by the respective echo pulses. so that on the Tube screen a cross-section of the scanned body plane consisting of many points is created, when the ultrasound head rotates

With such a pictorial representation of sectional planes of a body by means of ultrasonic echo pulses it has proven advantageous to use the pulse-shaped The ultrasonic waves are not emitted at a constant rate, but for example with a sinusoidal fluctuation Operate frequency (e.g. swept at 50 Hz): at Operation with constant frequency is namely the Nachieii. that - after sending an ultrasonic Im pui \ es - ve η erroneous due to the momentum Reflections can wander around in the liquid container to such an extent that they only then do the ultrasound head when this has been switched to receive for the second or third time. At a fixed frequency These faulty reflections on the screen always follow the same path fixed point of light that can lead to incorrect examination results. However, the transmission takes place the ultrasonic pulses with, for example, sinusoidally fluctuating frequency (e.g. "wobbled" at 50 Hz), then only real reflections form solid points of light on the screen, while wandering through Faulty reflections caused by rays as points of light wandering back and forth with the »wobble« frequency appear and are therefore recognizable as faulty.

In order to get a "standing" image of the cutting plane on the display tube of the oscilloscope, the line deflection frequency of the picture tube is synchronized with the pulse frequency of the ultrasonic transmitter be. In this case, however, the beginning of the line run of the electron beam must be opposite to the oscilloscope tube the beginning of the transmission of the ultrasonic pulse will be delayed by a certain time depends on the length of time the ultrasonic wave needs, to get from the transmitter to the body. This so-called water lead time changes z. B. at a Shift H. " Ultrasound head in the liquid container. Therefore, in order to avoid image distortion, both the transmission frequency and the Start of the line run by a master generator, which always provides the control pulse for triggering the line run at the right time, corresponding to the frequency and the water lead time.

However, oscillograph tubes of this type have the disadvantage that they are relatively expensive and also compared to the z. B. to be examined in medicine Bodies have very small screens (the body therefore appears on the screens in a reduced scale, which makes diagnosis difficult). Furthermore, one strives to increase the brightness of a Adjust the image point of the intensity of the reflected ultrasonic pulse in order to be precise in this way Conclusions about the nature of the research

Object to win. With the screens of the usual oscillograph tubes with electrostatic deflection system, however, the brightness is one thing The image point is not proportional to the electron beam intensity, so that a suitable height gradation It is very difficult to use oscilloscope tubes with an electrostatic deflection system Holiness control of the pixel as a function of the size of the reflection pulse is unsuitable because every change in the intensity of the electron beam results in a defocusing, so that - without regulation of focusing - points of different brightness have different sizes.

The object of the invention is to avoid this deficiency to eliminate additional technical effort.

To this end, the invention is based on the idea of in place of the picture tubes with a static deflection system customary in oscilloscopes, according to the invention, a magnetic one to use deflectable picture display tube, whose line deflection coil in the common branch of two parallel circuits are switched on, the first of which is a source of constant direct current Λ for the deflection of the electron beam to a starting point on the periphery of the screen each line run and the second a sawtooth generator switched by the control pulse for the line run of the electron beam.

Magnetically deflectable picture display tubes (commercially available television picture tubes) are in particular we due to the large series production, much cheaper than tubes with an electrostatic deflection system, have a sufficiently large screen, the brightness of the pixels is practically proportional to the Electron beam intensity, and a change in the intensity of the electron beam has no influence on the Focus. Such tubes therefore have those adhering to the picture display tubes with a static deflection system Lack not up. The mentioned advantages of the magnetically deflectable picture display tubes were known for a long time. However, these tubes are used for oscilloscopes of the type mentioned at the beginning until he could not use it, but had to continue to take the described deficiencies in K.mf because they only have a fixed frequency for the Line deflection can be operated. A control of the beginning of the respective line run by a Voltage pulse (i.e. a triggering of the line deflection), which is used to adapt the image recording to the Water lead time and the fluctuating frequency with which the ultrasonic waves would be emitted, is absolutely necessary, was not previously known. The inventor has a triggerable magnetically deflecting device Picture display tube specified and by installing this tube in the oscilloscope mentioned above thus satisfactorily eliminates the deficiencies that occurred in the previous image reproduction.

Vielmehr wird durch dasFrom US-PS 33 37 748 a magnetically acting deflection device is already known. With this can sawtooth-shaped currents in a coil, for. B. also in a deflection coil for one Oscillographs for the purpose of deflecting an electron beam; however, the coil will not - as the teaching of the present invention prescribes - continuously from a constant current flowed through. A power generator was not switched on by means of a control signal either Coil each feeds a single sawtooth pulse for the line deflection. Rather, the Wechselspiel zweier, in der Fig. 2a der US-PS dargestellten Transistoren 18. 21 ein kontinuierlicher sägezahnfönniger Wechselstrom in der Spule erzeugtInterplay between two transistors 18, 21 shown in FIG. 2a of the US Pat sawtooth-shaped alternating current generated in the coil

In contrast, the present invention serves the constant current only serves to create a magnetic field generate, which returns the electron beam to a fixed starting point after each line run the periphery of the screen. The electron beam remains in this initial position as long as until a current generator is switched on by means of the control signal, which generates a sawtooth-shaped current to the constant current for the purpose of line deflection Current pulse superimposed in opposite directions. The deflection device according to US-PS 33 37 748 differs accordingly, both in terms of effectiveness and in terms of structure, of the trigger circuit claimed in the present case. It is not a triggerable deflection device. Rather, this previously known deflection device represents is only a variant of the current generators known for a long time for the particularly low-loss generation of a deflection grid.

A constant Vormagnetisicruhgsstrom Iv is supplied from the first power source [compare curve h (t) in Fig.3], which holds the electron beam in a certain waiting position (usually on the left edge of the screen) until a trigger occurs. The second current source supplies the linearly increasing deflection current / * [compare curve h (t) m FIG. 31 which is controlled by a monostable multivibrator. The two currents Iv and I »are superimposed in the line deflection coil, so that the coil current h P corresponds to the one from F i g. 4 has an apparent course.

Gleichstromleistung bedingen. Bei der Berechnung der Größe der Bausteine für die Ablenkschaltung muß berücksichtigt werden, daß ein Teil des von der Spannungsquelle Lh erzeugten Impulsstromes auch Ober die Diode Di. den Widerstand Rv und die Spannungsquelle IA fließt.F i g. 5 shows a basic circuit diagram for generating the required coil current h P. When blocked transistor, the bias current Iv that holds the electron beam in its waiting position Tfließt due to the voltage source through the inductor ΙΛ /.(Ablenkspule), via the diode Di and the resistor Rv. Rl represents the ohmic resistance of the deflection coil L. If the transistor T becomes conductive by applying a control voltage to its base, the linearly increasing deflection current h (t) flows through the inductance L due to the voltage source Uo. If U (t) = - Iv, the coil is de-energized and the electron beam would e.g. B. when using a TV picture tube in the center of the fluorescent screen. If h (t)> Iv, the electron beam moves further to the right, i.e. h- * to the right edge of the picture target, the electron beam at the moment in which the transistor T is blocked by the control signal immediately spring back to the starting point for a corresponding magnitude of I, it must accomplished by circuitry measures that the deflection L ( t) is instantly interrupted and cannot be sustained via the bias circuit due to the law of induction. This is achieved according to the invention by the diode Di, which at this moment blocks the deflection current U (t), but not the bias current Iv . A significant increase in the series resistance /? <Would have the same effect, but would result in too great a loss ar. Condition DC power. When calculating the size of the components for the deflection circuit, it must be taken into account that part of the pulse current generated by the voltage source Lh also flows through the diode Di., the resistor Rv and the voltage source IA.

So that the bias current /. in the deflection coil again immediately after this process reaches its full value, the time constant 7V of the pre-magnetization circuit must be as small as possible to get voted. By turning the two magnets, the curve shape of the deflection current can be changed in the rise phase S are distorted. This curve shape is required when the fluorescent screen of the picture tube - as is the case with commercially available Fernsehbildröhren häufig der FaB ist — nicht auf einem festen Radius um den Ablenkmittelpunkt des Elektronenstrahl« liegt, sondern annähernd plan gewählt ist.TV picture tubes are often the FaB - is not on a fixed radius around the deflection center of the electron beam, but is chosen to be approximately flat.

Die Kapazität 27 glättet die durch die Schaltvorgänge auftretenden Spannungsspitzen an den Dioden 20.The state of rest is thus reached again, in which the electron beam is in its waiting position is located. The capacitance 27 smooths the voltage peaks occurring due to the switching processes at the Diodes 20.
