Description
The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for synchronization an oscillator with an alternating voltage, in which the oscillator voltage and the AC voltage are fed to a phase comparison circuit.
In known circuit arrangements for synchronization, this is Output signal of the oscillator in the phase comparison circuit with the AC voltage compared and derived a control voltage. To a control DC voltage for the control the frequency of the oscillator becomes the output voltage of the phase comparison circuit fed to the oscillator via a low-pass arrangement. Are the oscillator frequency and the frequency of the supplied alternating voltage is not the same, it arises at the output the phase comparison circuit an alternating voltage with the beat frequency of the both AC voltages. This beat frequency must still be transmitted by the low-pass filter can be so that the oscillator also with the corresponding frequency deviation can still be synchronized. To a large capture range of the circuit arrangement To obtain, it is therefore necessary to use the upper limit frequency of the low-pass arrangement to choose sufficiently high. In many applications of such phase comparison circuits however, efforts are made to keep the cutoff frequency of the low-pass arrangement as low as possible to be selected to allow short-term changes in the frequency of the supplied AC voltage do not affect the oscillator.
On the one hand to ensure a large catching area and on the other hand Various circuit arrangements are used to obtain a low susceptibility to interference known, in which one with a low cut-off frequency, so a large time constant of the low-pass element achieves the low sensitivity to interference and in the event of a step outside of the oscillator with the help of the in this case at the output of the phase comparison circuit the resulting alternating voltage controls a circuit arrangement via a high-pass filter, which controls the oscillator back to approximately the correct frequency.
There is also already known a circuit arrangement in which the Cutoff frequency of the low pass can be switched and when a frequency deviation occurs a larger cutoff frequency of the low-pass element is selected. The frequency deviation is determined by coincidence circuits.
In another known circuit arrangement, in which also the cut-off frequency of the low-pass filter is switched, controls the voltage which is fed to the oscillator as control voltage, a threshold value circuit, which switches the cutoff frequency.
However, the known circuit arrangements mentioned so far have the disadvantage that the oscillator frequency is only out of the holding range of the phase comparison circuit must come out for the resynchronization measures to take effect.
In another known circuit arrangement, the cutoff frequency is of the low-pass, however, depends directly on the size of the control voltage, which is according to an embodiment of this circuit arrangement by two anti-parallel Rectifier is achieved.
The object of the present invention is to provide a circuit arrangement to specify the synchronization of an oscillator and an alternating voltage, wherein the output voltage of the oscillator despite frequent disturbances of the synchronizing AC voltage has as few discontinuities as possible and still a large one Has capture range.
In a circuit arrangement for synchronizing an oscillator with an alternating voltage, in which the oscillator voltage and the alternating voltage a phase comparison circuit and the resulting control voltage on the one hand via a low-pass filter with one switchable by a threshold switch Time constant controls the frequency of the oscillator, the control voltage is according to the invention on the other hand, fed to the threshold switch via a further low-pass filter, the The output signal of the threshold switch controls a hold circuit, and that The output signal of the hold circuit causes the time constant to be switched.
The advantage of the circuit arrangement according to the invention is that that by using the further low-pass filter, the response threshold with respect to regardless of the size and duration of deviations in the synchronizing frequency of the time constants of the low-pass filter that is decisive for the generation of the control voltage can be chosen.
The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the figures.
F i g. 1 stellt eine erfindungsgemäße Schaltungsanordnung dar; F i g. 2 zeigt Ausführungsbeispiele wichtiger Teile aus F i g. 1 in ausführlicher Darstellung.F i g. 1 shows a circuit arrangement according to the invention; F i G. FIG. 2 shows exemplary embodiments of important parts from FIG. 1 in a detailed representation.
In the figure, 1 represents a phase comparison circuit which is used in 2 the AC voltage is supplied. The output voltage of the phase comparison circuit 1 is fed to a low-pass filter arrangement 4 with a switchable time constant. The thus The control voltage obtained reaches the oscillator 5 to be controlled. The output voltage of the oscillator 5 is fed into the phase comparison circuit at 3. The output signal the phase comparison circuit is also fed to a further low-pass filter 6. This further low-pass filter 6, together with the threshold switch 7, means that for a longer period exceeding an adjustable value of the output voltage of the phase comparison a signal is triggered. This signal is fed to the holding circuit 8. These causes the time constant of the low-pass element as soon as the signal occurs 4 is switched to a smaller value. By switching to the smaller one Time constant the oscillator voltage is back in the correct phase relation brought to the AC voltage, which begins quickly, but not without transients expires.
During this transient process must not return to the larger one Time constant are switched, since then there would be the risk that the oscillator gets into a large phase deviation again or even falls out of step. That's why the signal for switching the time constant by the hold circuit 8 becomes so long maintained until the transients have subsided.
The holding circuit 8 can either be a monostable switching stage or an integration circuit with a time constant that is dependent on the polarity of the input voltage jump. F i g. FIG. 2 shows exemplary embodiments of the arrangements 4, 6, 7 and 8 of FIG. 1. At 1, the output voltage of the phase comparison circuit 1 (FIG. 1) is fed to the low pass 4 and the integration circuit 6. The low-pass filter 4 consists of the resistors 13, 15 and 10 and the capacitors 1l. and 12. At 41, the control voltage for the oscillator is taken. The time constant or the limit frequency is switched over by short-circuiting the resistor 15 with the aid of the relay contact 14.
The further low-pass filter 6 is formed by the resistor 16 and the capacitor 17 . A symmetrical differential amplifier with transistors 18 and 19 and resistors 20 to 26 is used as the threshold switch. In order for both positive and negative deviations in the voltage at 40 to be detected, both output voltages of the differential amplifier are each via a diode 27, 28 of the capacitor serving as a holding circuit 29 supplied. Due to the low forward resistance of the diodes, the capacitor 29 is charged quickly if a larger phase deviation occurs for a longer period of time. Since the voltage of the capacitor is fed to the base of the transistor 38 via the transistors 31 and 34, which together with the resistors 33 and 36 form impedance converters, and via the Zener diode 35 and the resistors 32 and 37, the transistor 38 switches the relay 39 on . The contact 14 of the relay 39 closes and causes the reduction of the time constant of the low-pass filter 4. This synchronizes the oscillator again, and the deviation of the voltage at 40 from the setpoint is reduced, so that the higher of the two output voltages of the differential amplifier becomes smaller. As a result, the corresponding diode 27 or 28 is blocked and the capacitor 29 is gradually discharged via the high-resistance resistor 30 and the transistor 31. If the voltage of the capacitor 29 falls below a certain value, the transistor 38 is blocked and the relay 39 drops out, so that the low-pass filter 4 is switched back to the large time constant.
The circuit arrangement according to the invention is preferably used for regeneration the color carrier of color television signals picked up from the magnetic tape.
