Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Gerät (Zange), durch welches Hühneraugen oder Hornhäute u. dgl. leicht und schnell entfernt werden können.The invention relates to a device (forceps) through which corns or Corneas and the like can be removed easily and quickly.

Die Zange ist mit zwei löffeiförmigen Klauen α versehen, welche scharfe, kreisförmige
Ränder haben, die durch Zudrücken zur Berührung gebracht werden können. Zweckmäßig
sind dabei die Klauen.α nach abwärts gebogen und eine Durchsicht b geschaffen,
die das Beobachten der Schneiden und der Operation von oben her gestattet. Beim Gebrauch
werden die Klauen genügend weit voneinander geöffnet und das zu entfernende Hühnerauge an seinen äußeren Grenzen mit
diesen Klauen gefaßt, worauf dann die Zange in die Richtung der sogenannten Wurzel des
Hühnerauges (d. h. dem Knochen zu) gedrückt und gleichzeitig geschlossen wird. Hierdurch wird nicht nur der erhöhte Teil
des Hühnerauges entfernt, sondern die löffeiförmigen scharfen Klauen schneiden auch ein
linsenförmiges Stück aus. Der Schnitt hinterläßt eine Aushöhlung auf der operierten
Stelle, durch welche ein Schmerzen dieser Stelle infolge Fortfall des Druckes weiterhin
