Diese Wickelhülse 1 ist mit einem sich in Achsrichtung erstreckenden doppelseitig selbstklebenden Band beklebt, dessen genauer Aufbau aus dem in F i g. 2 dargestellten Querschnitt zu entnehmen ist, in welchem jedoch der besseren Übersichtlichkeit halber die einzelnen Schichten des doppelseitig seibstklebenden Bandes vergrößert dargestellt sind. Das doppelseitig selbstklebende Band 2 besteht aus einer Trägerfolie 3, die aus einer transparenten Kunststoffolie, einem Papier oder auch Gewebe bestehen kann. An der Unterseite der Trägerfolie 3 ist eine Klebstoffschicht 4 vorgesehen, die sich über die volle Breite B der Trägerfolie 3 erstreckt. Als Klebstoff hat sich ein Naturkautschuk-Kleber als vorteilhaft erwiesen. An der Außenseite weist die Trägerfolie 3 eine weitere Klebstoffschicht 5 auf, deren Breite b jedoch geringer ist als die Breite 5 der Trägerfolie 3. Auf diese Weise wird an der Außenseite an dem einen Längsrand 6 des doppelseitig selbstklebenden Bandes 2 eine klebstofffreie Zone 7 auf der Trägerfolie 3 gebildet. Hierdurch läßt sich die Schutzfolie 8 etwas anheben und dann bequem zwischen Zeigefinger und Daumen erfassen, so daß man sie nunmehr leicht abziehen kann. Da sich die klebstofffreie Zone 7 über den gesamten Längsrand des Bandes 2 erstreckt, ist ein solches einfaches Lösen an jeder beliebigen Stelle des Bandes möglich. Selbst wenn die Schutzfolie 8 beim Abziehen reißen sollte, kann sie an der noch auf dem selbstklebenden Band 2 haftenden Bruchstelle bequem wieder losgelöst werden.
