Vorrichtungen zum Reinigen der Düse von Dampflampen, bei denen die Reinigungsnadel für die Düsenöffnung an einem aufserhalb 'des Vergaserrohres gelagerten schwingenden Arm angeordnet ist, sind bekannt. Zieht man an einer an dem Arm χ bei \ angebrachten Schnur, so wird der Arm χ in die in Fig. 2 gezeigte Stellung gegen das Mundstück α gedreht, an welches die Führung k anschlägt, wodurch die Weiterdrehung des Armes b gehemmt wird. -Beim fortgesetzten Ziehen an der Schnur wird der Arm b, der weiteren Drehung des Armes χ folgend, entgegen dem Widerstände der Feder c gesenkt und nimmt endlich die in Fig. 3 gezeigte Stellung ein, wobei die Reinigungsnadel in die Oeffnung des Mundstückes eindringt, Läfst man die Schnur wieder frei, so werden die Arme bx unter Einwirkung der Feder c die ursprüngliche, in Fig. ι veranschaulichte Stellung wieder einnehmen.The device consists of an arm b which, in its upper end, has a head h, in which the cleaning needle i is attached, and a fork-shaped guide k .
