Um der Gröfse des Geflügels Rechnung zu tragen, d. h. bei der Verschiedenartigkeit desselben die Zangenbacken immer genügend tief in die Federn eindringen zu lassen, ist der Tisch h vorgesehen, dessen Führung ein Verschieben auf dem Gestell b und Feststellen mittelst Schraube i gestattet. Es ist wichtig, die Zangenbacken an ihren breiten Unterkanten mit einem nachgiebigen Gummibelag k zu versehen, um einerseits bei dem Rupfen die Haut des Thieres nicht zu verletzen, andererseits die Federn selbst nicht zu beschädigen.
