Regulator with pneumatic auxiliary force The subject of patent application B 56396 IX / 42 r (German Auslegeschrift 1136 145) is a regulator with pneumatic auxiliary force, which consists of two differential pressure systems connected to one another by a linkage. One of the two differential pressure systems is acted upon on one side by a pressure corresponding to the actual value of the controlled variable and on the other side by a pressure that maps the control setpoint; the second differential pressure system is connected to the pressure acting on the actuator via throttle sections. An additional differential pressure measuring mechanism, which is acted upon on the one hand with the control pressure and on the other hand with the pressure prevailing behind the throttle to generate the reserve effect, applies a force to the lever linkage of the controller according to patent application B 56396 IXf 42 r Regulator exercised. This results in a possibility of influencing the strength of the lead effect, which is advantageous and desirable in many cases, and which cannot be changed arbitrarily with other pneumatic controllers.
The present invention leads to that protected by the main patent
Invention continues. It is based on a regulator with pneumatic auxiliary power, at
which a force dependent on the control deviation via the force switch
actuating linkage against the force of a with the interposition of a throttle
with the standing pressure applied feedback measuring mechanism is balanced and with which
an additional one on the connecting rod between the input measuring unit and the return measuring unit
acting, on the one hand from standing pressure and on the other hand from that
applied pressure behind the throttle to generate the reserve effect
Differential pressure system is provided according to patent application B 56396 IX / 42r. the
The invention consists in that the additionally provided differential pressure measuring mechanism
the linkage of the two measuring mechanisms acts at the point at which the
Attacks force of the feedback measuring mechanism acted upon by the standing pressure. Such a one
Arrangement of the additional differential measuring pressure proves to be particularly advantageous,
there is a change in the proportional range by shifting the linkage point
between the input measuring mechanism and the return measuring mechanism in the same way
the lead effect and the lead weakening effect of the additional differential pressure measuring mechanism
affects. The effect of the additional differential pressure system is always independent
of the selected proportional band setting, in a defined ratio
on the effect of the yielding or delayed yielding return.
Die Abbildungen zeigen Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung. The figures show exemplary embodiments of the invention.
The in ab b. The pneumatic controller shown in FIG. 1 contains two differential pressure systems, which are designed as weir pipes 1 and 2 . Each of these weir pipes is arranged in a cavity which is cut out from a common metallic housing 3. The two weir pipes 1 and 2 are tightly attached to a base of the metal housing and can therefore be used as a differential pressure system. The space 4 within the corrugated pipe 1 is supplied via a line 5 with a pressure which represents the actual value of the controlled variable generated by a transducer. A manually adjustable pressure is fi via a line which is closed all round cavity 6 outside the weir ear 1 fed, which the target value of the controlled variable darstellt- A connecting rod $, which is attached to the bottom of the WeIIrohres 1 and led out through a sealed opening in the housing 3 , transmits the force exerted by the difference in the pressure values acting on the world tube 1 to a balance beam 9, the pivot point of which can be adjusted by moving a bearing point 10. The balance beam 9 is connected to a baffle plate which, depending on the position of the balance beam, controls the air flow through an outlet nozzle 12. This discharge nozzle 12 is connected to the compressed air line 14 via a fixed throttle nozzle 13. A variable pressure forms between the fixed throttle section 13 and the throttle point 12, which is dependent on the position of the balance beam 9, and represents the standing pressure, possibly amplified by a pressure booster not shown in the schematic illustration. This is fed to the control valve via line 15. The pressure leading to the control valve is also fed to the space 17 within the corrugated pipe 2 via a line 16 and is used for return. The same pressure that is passed into the interior of the corrugated pipe 2 can also get into the space 18 between the housing 3 and the corrugated pipe 2, but a throttle 19 is provided which laterally delays the pressure equalization between the spaces inside and outside of the corrugated pipe 2 . A transmission rod 11 fastened to the movable bottom of the corrugated pipe 2 transmits the difference between the force exerted on the corrugated pipe from the outside and from the inside to the balance beam 9. Only after the pressure values prevailing outside and inside the corrugated pipe 2 have been equalized, the return through the corrugated pipe 2 is canceled. The corrugated pipe 2 therefore causes a yielding feedback, which gives the controller a proportional-integral behavior. To achieve a reserve effect, a throttle 20 is provided in the supply line of the standing pressure to the space 17 within the corrugated pipe 2 or to the adjustable throttle section 19 , which the onset of the return pressure on the corrugated pipe 2 at the first moment after a change in the controlled variable and a change caused by it of the standing pressure is delayed. Since the feedback effect of the corrugated pipe 2 occurs only tentatively in the event of a sudden change in the controlled variable, a change in the controlled variable is able to fully control the control nozzle 12 at the first moment after it occurs and to cause a sudden change in the control pressure, which is only gradually caused by the Effect of the onset of recirculation is reduced. This lead pulse, which is desirable per se, is, however, much too large in its amplitude for many applications. In order to remedy this inconvenience, a further differential system 21 is provided, which consists of the two membranes 22 and 23 connected to one another. These act via a center piece 24 on a lever 25 which is connected to the balance beam 9 via a linkage 26. The linkage of the linkage 26 to the lever 9 takes place in the present embodiment of the invention at the point of the lever 9 at which the connecting rod between the bottom of the corrugated pipe 2 and the lever 9 also engages. The force exerted by the differential pressure meter 21 on the lever 9 can be adapted to the present needs by means of an adjustable mounting 27 of the lever 25 on its own and independently of the set proportional range. Acts on the upper membrane 22 of the differential pressure gauge 21 of the outsorted from the control nozzle 12 signal pressure, while the differential pressure gauge 21 there is the same pressure on the diaphragm 23 ,. as in the interior of the corrugated pipe 2, that is to say a pressure which is taken off behind the adjustable throttle 20 provided for setting the time constant of the lead effect. As long as the actual value of the controlled variable corresponds to the setpoint, there is no pressure difference on both sides of the supply throttle 20, so the differential pressure system 21 does not exert any force on the balance beam 9. If, however, the value of the controlled variable changes abruptly compared to the setpoint, and if as a result of this change and as a result of the action of the reserve throttle there is a sudden modulation of the control nozzle 12, which is initially not compensated for due to the delayed return by the reserve throttle 20, then one of the difference between the pressure values prevailing on both sides of the throttle 20 is brought into effect on the balance beam 9 in the sense that the full modulation of the control nozzle 12 is prevented. However, this does not completely cancel the lead effect, but merely reduces the amplitude of the pressure surge occurring in the control pressure line and caused by the lead effect to a defined extent. The selected articulation point of the additional differential pressure meter 21 to 27 at the point at which the differential pressure meter 2 engages the lever 9 via the rod 11 ensures that the influence of the lead-weakening effect generated by the additional differential pressure measuring mechanism on the power switch when the proportional range setting of the controller changes is always changed to the same extent as the influence of the time-dependent feedback through the feedback differential pressure measuring mechanism.
nach A b b. 1.
In
In A bb. 2 shows how the invention can also be used in conjunction with an additional valve to form a negative lead. The additional formation of a negative lead proves to be advantageous when regulating various control systems. For this purpose, a control device is usually switched on in the control pressure line, which adds an additional lead pulse with an opposite switching direction to the standing pressure controlled by the regulator. Due to the adjustable device for influencing the lead pulse according to the invention, the lead pulse of a PID controller or PD controller can be adapted to the lead behavior generated by the additional device downstream of the controller in the sense of a favorable control. The controller, which consists of two differential pressure systems coupled by an adjustable lever, a measuring system and a feedback system, corresponds to the device according to A b b. 1. The corresponding components are shown in A b b. 2 are provided with the same reference numerals as in A b b. 1. The additional device for influencing the lead effect according to the invention, which is composed of the components 21 to 27, corresponds to the device according to A b b. 1. The in A b b. 2, a control valve is connected downstream, which also serves as a volume booster for fast filling of the control pressure line and the control valve. The arrangement shown for the formation of a negative lead pulse consists of two membranes 32 and 33 fastened in a housing 31, of which the membrane 32 can have a larger area than the membrane 33. The membrane 32 acts directly on a tube 34, the membrane 33 below Interposition of a lever 35 also on this tube. One end of the tube 34 rests against a valve cone 36 and is connected to the outside air at the other end via a flexible line 37. The sealing cone 36 is seated on a lever, the free end of which forms the baffle plate of a nozzle-baffle plate system 38. If the tube 34 is pushed up through the two membranes 32 and 33, the sealing cone 36 closes its upper opening so that no air can escape into the open from the chamber 39. In addition, the baffle plate of the nozzle-baffle plate system 38 is lifted from the nozzle, and air can flow into the chamber 39 from the supply air line. The chamber 39 is connected to the line 43 leading the control pressure to the actuator. This pressure also prevails in the chamber 42 connected to the chamber 39 on the upper side of the diaphragm 32. The space 40 below the diaphragm 33 is charged with the output pressure of the regulator behind the nozzle 12 or a downstream pressure booster, the space 41 between the diaphragms 32 and 33 is connected to the regulator's air lines between the throttle 19 for adjusting the reset time and the throttle 20 for adjusting the lead time and therefore carries the same pressure as the chamber inside the bellows 2.If the outlet pressure of the regulator in the line 15 rises, in this way, this increased outlet pressure is initially only passed into the chamber 40 below the membrane 33 without delay. He pushes this membrane upwards and closes the nozzle of the nozzle-baffle system 38 via the lever 35 and the tube 34. In addition, it causes the tube 34 to be pulled down and its opening released so that air from the with the Signal pressure acted upon space 39 is drained. Therefore, when the outlet pressure of the regulator rises downstream of the nozzle 12, there is first a decrease in the control pressure passed through the line 43 to the pillar valve. Only after the pressure behind the throttle 12 has passed through the throttle 20 into the space 41 between the diaphragms 32 and 33 is this temporary reduction in the control pressure in line 43, which is caused by increasing regulator output pressure, canceled. In the chamber 42 on the upper side of the diaphragm 32 there is the same pressure as in the chamber 39 and in the control pressure line 43, so that there is an equilibrium between the pressure difference prevailing at the throttle 20 and the pressure prevailing inside the chamber 41 on the one hand Side of the membrane 32 as well as the pressure prevailing in the chambers 42, 39 and the actuating pressure line 43 forms on the other side of this membrane. If there is no pressure difference between the two sides of the throttle 20, which is the case in the regulated state when the actual and setpoint values match, the control pressure in line 43 corresponds to the output pressure of the controller in line 15 downstream of nozzle 12 or downstream of one of the nozzles possibly downstream power amplifier. Due to the adjustability of the device for lead weakening made up of components 21 to 27, the lead effect of the PID controller can be adjusted in relation to the effect of the device for forming an inverse lead and brought to a value that is favorable for the control effect.
