peutisch anwendbare Salze. Acids include, for example, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, Hydrobromic acid, methanesulfonic acid, tartaric acid, maleic acid, citric acid or phthalic acid into consideration. If the «-halogen ketones used as starting materials are not known, can you z. B. can be produced by bromination of the ketones in glacial acetic acid.
The α-pyrrolidinoketones of the general formula I given and their salts are distinguished by central stimulating properties and influence blood pressure. In this regard, they are superior to the known, similarly constructed, comparable -piperidino ketones. For example, experiments on rats by the Schlaguweit method (Arch, exper. Path. And Pharm., Vol. 131 [1928], p. 212) have shown that the compounds 1-phenyl-2-pyrrolidinobutanone obtainable according to the process - (1) -hydrochloride, 1-phenyl-2-pyrrolidino-pentanone- (1) -hydrochloride and 1-phenyl-2-pyrrolidinohexanone- (1) -hydrochloride from Chemical Abstracts, Vol. 51 (1957), columns 4303 to 4307, known l-phenyl-2-piperidino-propanone- (l) -hydrochloride and from the Journal of Organic Chemistry, Vol. 12 (1947), pp. 651 to 703, known l-phenyl-2-piperidino- hexanone- (l) are clearly superior in terms of the central stimulating properties, while at the same time an advantageous blood pressure-increasing effect is present. The toxicity of the compounds obtainable according to the invention is low, the LD 50 of 1-phenyl-2-pyrrolidino-pentanone- (l) -hydrochloride corresponds to 38.5 mg / kg (intravenous in the mouse) about that of the known l-phenyl- 2-piperidino-propanone- (l) -hydrochloride (LD 50 31.6 mg / kg intravenous in the mouse).

9.6 g of α-bromovalerophenone in 20 ml of benzene are added dropwise to 7 g of 2-methylpyrrolidine in 30 ml of benzene, while stirring. After completion of the addition the mixture is stirred for 4 hours at 4O 0 C and worked up as in Example 1, a) to be described to give the l-phenyl-2- (2'-methylpyrrolidino) -valerophenon from Kp. 0J2 C 127-128 ° in a yield of 7 g. The colorless hydrochloride recrystallized from ethyl acetate and then from acetone melts at 133 to 134 ° C.

l-Phenyl-2-pyrrolidino-buten-(2)-on-(l)
Man erhält
l-Phenyl-2-pyrrolidino-buten-(2)-on-(l) vom Kp.0j8
bis 114° C (unter teilweiser Zersetzung).l-phenyl-2-pyrrolidino-buten- (2) -one- (l)
34 g l-phenyl-2-bromo-butene (2) -one (l) (mp 70-71 ° C) of a mixture of 1 part of the ether and 4 parts petroleum ether are suspended in 75 ml and 0 to -30 C chilled. A solution of 10.7 g of pyrrolidine in 35 ml of ether-petroleum ether is then added dropwise with stirring, the temperature being kept at -30 ° C. and then stirred for a further 2 hours. This forms a precipitate, which is filtered off with suction, quickly introduced into 75 g of a cold 12% strength sodium ethylate solution and then heated on a water bath for 15 minutes. It is then poured into water, the separated oil is taken up in ether, dried over sodium sulphate and the solvent is evaporated off. 1-Phenyl-2-pyrrolidino-buten- (2) -one- (1) with a boiling point of 0.8 to 114 ° C. (with partial decomposition) is obtained.
