Description
The invention relates to a dust conveyor device in dusters for pesticides or fertilizers on farms. The object of the invention is to create such a device that does not have its own power source attached to a tractor or tractor that is present in almost every agricultural operation can be, from this receives its power drive and with a minimal mechanical effort The possibility offers the powdery material to be sprayed evenly over a wide area, without any manual work is assumed. This object of the invention is essentially achieved in that an expediently designed as a structural unit device that is attached to a tractor by means of struts is applied, is driven by this via an output shaft, and that of this output shaft A conveying device that takes the powder to be sprayed from a storage chamber via a common back-up gear promotes in a suction chamber, and a fan is driven, which the powder from the Suction chamber sucks in and presses into a pressure chamber, in which the distribution to the supply lines a variety of dust nozzles takes place. It is essential here that the drive of the fan and the Conveyor are inevitably coupled to each other, so that if the drive fails, both devices fail. This avoids that if the fan fails and the work continues Conveying device clogging of the suction chamber and clumping of the powdery material occurs, which can only be eliminated by disassembling the device and cleaning the suction chamber could be. The two side walls of the pantry taper downwards, and in the tapered one At the end, a conveyor shaft driven by a chain drive is mounted, on which a is arranged with a worm gear equipped hollow shaft. The conveyor shaft and the hollow shaft are coupled to one another in a predetermined gear ratio. This can be done, for example take place that the conveyor shaft at its free end, which protrudes from the storage chamber, carries a cam or eccentric, which controls a pawl via a double lever, which in turn engages The ratchet wheel sits firmly on the hollow shaft with each revolution of the cam by one tooth advances.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically.

The powder to be sprayed is located in a container 10, the upper wall 11 of which has a flange 13 which can be closed by means of a lid 12. The two side walls 14 (Fig. 3) of this storage container 10 taper downwards to a tub 15, while the other two walls 17 and 34 (Fig. 2) run vertically. A sheet metal 27 creates a special space which is connected to the storage container through an opening 19, while an opening 26 leads into an intermediate chamber 24. The connection path from the suction chamber 20 formed by the sheet 27 to the intermediate chamber 24 separated from the container 10 by the sheet 18 is shielded by a correspondingly curved baffle 29 which leads to an opening 28. In addition, an opening 30 opens into the chamber 20, through which fresh air can be drawn in from the outside. A pressure chamber is created by a sheet metal housing 21, which is attached to the wall 17 of the storage container

These two rejuvenated Rooms 59 are connected to one another by means of a pipe 64. The reservoir 10 is by means of struts 68, 69 which are hinged to pins 70 and 71 are attached to suitable points on the tractor. In addition, the storage container contributes Angle iron 54 with an eye 72, which is also used to attach to the tractor. So long the entire device is not attached to the tractor, it can be placed on feet 73 will. A double bearing is located on a housing extension 49 arranged below the pressure chamber 22 48 is provided, in which the drive shaft 47 of the device is mounted. This gets its drive Via the output shaft 50 of the tractor, possibly, as can be seen from FIG. 2, via some Cardan joints. A double chain wheel 46 is keyed onto the shaft 47. The chains 45 overflow a sprocket 39 which is arranged on the countershaft 31. This shaft is in the reservoir 10, namely rotatably mounted in bearings 32 and 33 at its lowermost tapered end. on The shaft 31 is also fitted with a second chain wheel 40, the chains 44 of which are connected to a chain wheel 43 work together, which is arranged on the shaft of a blade fan 42. The two sprockets with their chains are covered by a housing 38. So if by the output shaft 50 the Shaft 31 is rotated, the blade fan 42 is set in operation at the same time. This blade fan is arranged in the aforementioned pressure chamber 22. Its suction opening 25 lies in the wall 17 of the intermediate chamber 24. A hollow shaft is seated on the shaft 31 so that it can rotate freely and has a screw thread on the outside is provided and so the screw conveyor 16 forms. Sit next to the screw thread within the suction chamber 20 radially acting paddle wheels 35, which swirl around the material to be sucked off. The speed of the hollow shaft must be extraordinary compared to the speed of the fan be low. The shaft 31 protrudes with the free end 88 from the storage container 10 and carries on its free end 88 has a cam or eccentric 41, as shown in more detail in FIG. the Hollow shaft 16 carries a flange 36 on this side, to which a ratchet gear 37 is rigidly attached is. A double-armed lever 52 is mounted on the angle iron 54 via an angle 53. The one end this lever carries a roller 51 which cooperates with the eccentric 41, while the other End carries a pawl 55 which is under the pressure of a spring 56 with the ratchet wheel 37 in engagement. It it can readily be seen that with each revolution the eccentric 41 lifts the roller 51 once and so that with each revolution of the shaft 31 the pawl 55 advances the ratchet wheel 37 by one tooth. If the shaft 31 is now driven counterclockwise, the friction between Shaft 31 and hollow shaft 16, the ratchet wheel 37 are taken along and the pawl 55 via the individual Teeth jump off. To prevent this, two arms 58 are arranged on the angle iron 54, through which a screw is pulled. By contracting the arms 58, the Brake pads 57 pressed against the ratchet gear 37 from both sides. The friction will be like this set so that when the shaft 31 rotates, the gear 37 is not entrained, but on the other hand the force of the pawl 55 when rocking the lever 52 is sufficient to overcome the friction of the brake. If, on the other hand, the shaft 31 is rotated clockwise by the drive, such a braking device is not necessary, since then a drive of the gear 37 clockwise as a result the locking by the pawl 55 cannot take place. At the two tapered ends 59 of the As can be seen from FIG. 1, pressure chambers 22 are the two via two elastic hose sections 60 Articulated pressure pipes 62 which are closed at their ends. Wear it along its entire length these pressure pipes at regular intervals dust nozzles 63. The beginning of these two pressure pipes 62 is apart by the width of the pressure chamber 22 plus the width of the two hose sections 60 and thus forms a dead space. In order to bridge this, there are 64 additionally arranged a corresponding number of dust nozzles 65, so that the entire width of the The device is now equipped with dust nozzles at equal intervals when the pressure arms are laid out. To stiffen the elastic tube sections 60, hinge-like joints 61 are arranged, which allow rotation of the pressure pipes 62 in the horizontal plane and also a folding up of the pressure pipes enable upwards. To relieve these swivel joints, struts 67 are also arranged on the storage container 10, one of which is corresponding Attack number of ropes 66 at different points of the pressure pipes 62 and a bending Prevent the pressure pipes from going down. As can be seen from Fig. 1, the whole device can can be folded up in a small space so that they are not a traffic hazard when the tractor leaves and starts and can also be placed in the smallest of spaces.
