erfolgt.Spinning and twisting ring The invention relates to a spinning and twisting ring
Made of wear-resistant material with a flange at the top for the rotor and with
automatic lubrication through holes or slots. Such rings have been around since
known for a long time, however, the supply of the lubricant is usually provided in such a way that
that the ring traveler surfaces touched by the traveler are directly lubricated, d.
H. the lubrication holes or the like open into these surfaces. Such designs
have the disadvantage that at those points where the lubrication channels
Break through the running surfaces of the ring, increased as a result of the reduced area
Surface loads occur and thus local wear and tear after a short time
he follows.
In order to eliminate this disadvantage, a spinning ring has become known,
in which the lubrication by a arranged inside the spinning ring and with
this firmly connected lubricant carrier is carried out, which is surrounded by a cover
and consists of an oil-absorbent mass. However, this coverage is not
provided on all free surfaces of the lubricant carrier, but partially
considerably removed from the lubricant carrier. This has the disadvantage
that dust and dirt can get into the oil. A deterioration in the lubricating properties
is the consequence.
The invention is based on the knowledge that the extraordinary
high wetting power of suitable oils ensures sufficient lubrication,
even if the lubricant supply is not directed directly into those zones
in which the runner touches the ring. It has also been proven that the risk of clogging
of lubricant channels is considerably less if they are not from the runner
be touched.
The invention is characterized in that the lubricant carrier
firmly connected to the inside of the ring web and on its free surface with
a sheet metal ring that tightly encloses the lubricant carrier is covered
is also firmly connected to the ring at its lower end and to his
the upper end just below the ring flange with the inner surface of the ring web
forms capillary-like annular gap lying close to the rotor running zone. To the
Impregnation of the lubricant carrier from outside can be done in a manner known per se
a channel guided through the ring web can be provided.
Verschmutzungsgefahr gegeben. The invention will be explained in more detail using the exemplary embodiment shown in the figure. The exemplary embodiment represents a normal spinning ring for C-shaped runners which, when the inventive concept is applied, can be provided for self-lubrication without the already extremely small runner running surface 17 being reduced or interrupted by any feed channels. The shell 16 includes a lubricant supply 15 in the form of a wick or a felt ring, the lower boundary of the shell 16 being sealed with the ring 12 in such a way that the lubricant can only escape directly next to the rotor running surface 17. In this way, the most favorable lubricating effect is achieved with the lowest possible lubricant consumption and the lowest risk of contamination.
The spinning ring 12 is fastened in a holder 13. A lubrication channel 14 leads to the lubricant carrier 15 in the interior of the ring 12. The lubrication channel is drawn upward through a thin-walled shell 16 which leads to just below the rotor running surface 17 of the ring 12. A ring traveler 18, in which a thread 19 lies, is placed around the ring 12.
