Die Erfindung betrifft ein Klappenventil mit einer Klappe, die beim Schließen unter Verwendung exzentrischer Mittel und einer Blattfeder zuerst gedreht und dann in axialer Richtung gegen den Sitz zu verschoben wird. Es unterscheidet sich von den bekannten Einrichtungen dieser Art dadurch, daß die U-förmig gebogene Blattfeder mit dem einen Schenkel auf der Klappe befestigt und mit dem anderen Schenkel um die Klappenwelle gewickelt ist, an der sich starr angebracht ein Nocken befindet, der die Klappe nach der Drehung von der Klappenwelle weg in Richtung auf den Sitz bewegt.
