Abstract

Ein Projektionssystem mit digitaler Lichtverarbeitung nach Anspruch mit digitaler Lichtverarbeitung verfügt über eine Beleuchtungsvorrichtung, ein Optischer-Pfad-Umschaltelement, eine Projektionsvorrichtung und einen Prismensatz. Der Prismensatz ist zwischen der Beleuchtungsvorrichtung, dem Optischer-Pfad-Umschaltelement und der Projektionsvorrichtung angeordnet, und er verfügt über eine Anzahl von Prismen, bei denen zwischen jeweils zwei benachbarten Prismen ein Luftspalt existiert. Gemäß der Erfindung läuft ein von der Beleuchtungsvorrichtung ausgegebener Lichtstrahl direkt durch die Prismen und Luftspalte, bevor er vom Optischer-Pfad-Umschaltelement empfangen wird. In einem ersten Zustand wird ein vom Optischer-Pfad-Umschaltelement reflektierter Lichtstrahl an einer Grenzfläche zwischen einem der Prismen und einem der Luftspalte totalreflektiert, bevor er von der Projektionslinse empfangen wird. In einem zweiten Zustand wird ein vom Optischer-Pfad-Umschaltelement reflektierter Lichtstrahl innerhalb eines zum Optischer-Pfad-Umschaltelement benachbart liegenden Prismas intern rückwärts und vorwärts totalreflektiert, und er wird durch ein Lichtabsorptionsmaterial absorbiert.
