  • Steering column levers are usually attached to the steering column of the motor vehicle such that the steering column lever is mounted radially to the steering column on the jacket tube, whereby upon actuation of the steering wheel and thus guided in the jacket tube steering column lever is immovable relative to the steering wheel.   • This object is achieved by a steering column lever with the features of claim 1 and by an operating device with such a steering column lever according to claim 8. Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the present invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
  • The steering column lever for a motor vehicle according to the invention has on the front side a multifunctional operating device with an at least bidirectionally operable operating element for selecting and / or setting functional groups and / or functions of at least one electronic device provided in the motor vehicle. Due to the steering wheel close arrangement, the steering column lever has enormous advantages as an input element for the driver, since he can serve, for example, extensive menu-driven functional offers without having to take his hand off the steering wheel.
