Dieses Konfigurierungsmenü 17 weist im wesentlichen den Aufbau des unter www.volkswagen.de/konfigurator/right.htm (16.07.2001) im Internet veröffentlichten Konfigurators auf, wobei gemäß der Erfindung ein wesentlicher Unterschied besteht, der Nutzer konfiguriert das Fahrzeug mit den für ihn bzw. seine Firma geltenden Konditionen und bekommt diese in jedem Konfigurierungsschritt und für jede Teilzusammenstellung angezeigt. Ist das Fahrzeug konfiguriert, kann das Fahrzeug durch Absendung einer definitiven Bestellung 18 über die zentrale Einrichtung 1 direkt oder über den ihm zugeordneten Händler mit den für den Kunden geltenden Konditionen bestellt werden. Dabei kann jedoch vorgesehen sein, dass der Händler andere Konditionen als der Kunde besitzt. Besitzt der Nutzer keine Autorisierung, die eine Fahrzeugbestellung erlaubt, kann er im Menüpunkt 19 sein konfiguriertes Fahrzeug zur Bestellung in der zentralen Einrichtung 1 ablegen. Ein berechtigter Nutzer kann später über den Menüpunkt 16 das konfigurierte Fahrzeug bestellen.
