The grill grate, grill plate, grill pan, pan or cooking pot can be made of cast iron, stainless steel or aluminum or an aluminum alloy. The use of cast iron has advantages in terms of temperature retention, but has the disadvantage of being heavy. Aluminum or aluminum alloy makes the entire device lighter, but leads to rapid cooling and reduces the stability of the device.

The components of the grill can be made of stainless steel and/or aluminum or an aluminum alloy. Finally, it is also conceivable to provide the essential components of the grill with a dirt-repellent layer, which makes cleaning easier.
