Description

The invention relates to a sifter for sifting granular material into at least one fraction of fine material and one fraction of coarse material, comprising a housing in which a cascade of stairs permeable to classifying gas is installed at an angle deviating from the horizontal, at least one inflow channel into the housing for sifting gas, and at least one outflow channel from the housing for sifting gas loaded with fine material, whereby facing the staircase cascade and separated by a viewing zone, louvre-like, superimposed louvres are arranged, and wherein above the viewing zone on the upper side of the housing there is a classified material entry opening and below the viewing zone on the A discharge opening for the coarse material is arranged on the underside of the housing.

For viewing fine material from material to be separated, it is known to let the material to be separated fall over a step-like cascade of baffle plates in a closed chamber through which sifting air flows transversely and thereby to blow out the fine components through the sifting air. The blown-out fine material is discharged from the chamber with the classifying air via an outflow channel and the fine material is separated from the classifying air flow in a further device. These classifiers described here are usually referred to as V-classifiers because of their external structure.

The efficiency of the V-classifier is determined by its geometry. The cascades must not be too shallow to ensure a sufficient flow of the material to be separated and not too steep so that the sifting air has enough time to blow out the fine material. A V-sifter should also not be arbitrarily wide, since in the case of very wide V-sifter, which are wider than a bulk cone that forms with a corresponding throughput, a distribution problem over the width of the sifter could arise. There are therefore geometric limits to the ideal shape of a V-classifier.

In order to increase the throughput of a system for sifting material to be separated, it is possible to arrange many individual sifters next to one another. These classifier batteries work independently and side by side. The total separation performance of the classifier battery constructed in this way is equal to the sum of the separation performance of the individual classifiers. In order to supply the individual sifters with sifting air, it is necessary to connect the individual sifters to a usually central sifting air output. This gives rise to problems with the pneumatic control, which also occurs on a much smaller scale in air conditioning systems. The classifying air flow differs between the individual classifiers because the distance between the individual classifiers and the central compressor is different. An individual sifter closer to the compressor reduces the pressure in the remaining line so that the individual sifters that are further away from the compressor work with a lower sifting air pressure. This means that the separation performance differs, but also the grain composition of the fine material of the different individual classifiers. Although it is also known to regulate the air supply to the individual classifiers by means of air flow regulators, regulation using a plurality of individual classifiers is no longer trivial, since control oscillations can build up in the line from the compressor to the individual classifiers, which are caused by dynamic air pressure fluctuations in the classifying air performance. In addition to the actual control oscillation, which is caused by the timing element between the actuator and the control element, an air pressure oscillation that is introduced into the control system and that builds up in the system itself and can influence the grinding cycle is superimposed.

From the German patent DE 10 2015 013 892 B3 an arrangement of two cascade separators connected directly one behind the other is known, which are pneumatically connected to one another. Through this series connection, different degrees of fineness of the separated fine material can be produced in a compact sifter arrangement. However, this system is not suitable for scaling without taking measures to regulate the air conditioning.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a scalable sifter which is not tall, so that lifting work is saved, and which does not tend to vibrate, so that it sifts out a uniform fine material with a constant grain composition from the material to be separated.

The object according to the invention is achieved in that at least two opposing individual separators are pneumatically connected to one another via a common pressure equalization chamber through which the separating gas flows into the respective inflow channels of the individual separator. Further advantageous refinements are given in the subclaims to claim 1.

According to the concept of the invention, provision is therefore made for a pressure compensation chamber to be present which is arranged between more than one individual sifter and via which the more than one individual sifter is connected to one another. The pressure compensation chamber makes it unnecessary to regulate the individual classifying air flow, because the pressure compensation chamber applies the same classifying air pressure to each individual classifier. The common and central pressure equalization chamber is connected to each individual classifier in a geometrically identical manner, so that no air pressure fluctuations can build up due to different airways between the different individual classifiers. With this structure, a large classifier can be replaced by a multiple arrangement according to the invention of smaller classifiers connected to one another.

In a preferred embodiment of the classifier according to the invention it is provided that the classifying gas resistance, which describes the pressure drop of the classifying gas from the inflow channel to the outflow channel for a given classifying gas flow, is approximately the same for at least two individual classifiers. The classifying gas resistance is determined by the cross section of the relevant individual sifter that can be flowed through, the length of the air path that the sifting air has to cover in the individual sifter, and the air flow. The air flow describes whether the air is diverted several times or whether it flows in an ideal cylindrical tube. The effects of the geometric shape of a device on its flow resistance are well known to those skilled in the art, although predictability is not trivial. The comparability of the visual air resistance between the various individual viewers reduces the tendency to regulate oscillations and the tendency to air pressure oscillations in the supply line with sighting air and the visual efficiency is equal to one another.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the more than one individual sifter is constructed mirror-inverted to one another, so that they are opposite one another and show the same reaction to the flow of sifting air. It is advantageous if the more than one individual sifter is always set up in pairs, mirror images of one another. It is not important here whether the individual classifiers themselves have mirror symmetry or are not themselves mirror symmetrical, that is to say do not have a mirror plane. The pressure equalization chamber of the classifier according to the invention can be constructed differently. It has proven to be advantageous if the pressure compensation chamber is directly connected to the air inlet openings of the more than one individual sifter. It can happen that parts to be separated also get into the pressure compensation chamber. This happens due to unwanted disruptions in operation, deviations from ideal behavior or due to brief overloading of an individual sifter. In order to be able to let the separated material out of the pressure compensation chamber, it is provided that, in a preferred embodiment of the sifter, the pressure compensation chamber has its own classifiable material discharge opening.

In a further embodiment of the classifier according to the invention, it can be provided that the at least two individual classifiers have, in addition to a discharge opening for fine material, a further discharge opening for a medium material fraction. The composition of the fines can be controlled to a very precise degree by the outlet of the medium fraction.

So that the pressure compensation chamber evenly distributes the pressure to the different individual sifters between the more than one individual sifter, it can be provided that the pressure compensation chamber is connected to the inflow channels of the at least two individual sifters via a perforated diaphragm wall or grid wall. The perforated screen wall or the grille has a low resistance to air flow. When balancing, the air flow resistance of an individual sifter acts like a passive control element with a small but noticeable balancing function of the classifying air flow, so that the pressure in the pressure compensation chamber on the more than one single classifier leads to a classifying air flow that is as identical as possible between the different individual classifiers.

In order to ensure the uniform flow of more than one individual sifter, in a preferred embodiment of the sifter it can be provided that the sifting gas, which flows into the inflow channels of the at least two individual sifters via the pressure compensation chamber, flows into the pressure compensation chamber exactly in the middle between the at least two individual sifter. The geometric center leads to a lower tendency for air pressure oscillations, which have different effects for the different individual viewers.

In a first specific embodiment of the invention, it is provided that pairs of separators opposite one another are constructed as a separator battery, which are located in pairs one behind the other and are connected to one another with the same pressure compensation chamber. In order to subject the separated fine material to a further division, the outflow channel from the housing of the individual sifter for fine material can each be connected to its own rod basket sifter assigned to this individual sifter, or the outflow channels from the housing of more than one individual sifter for fine material in a common rod basket sifter be connected.

In 1 is a vertical section through V-classifier 1 for sifting granular material into at least one fraction of fine material and one fraction of coarse material from the PRIOR ART. This known V-classifier has a housing G in which with an angle α deviating from the horizontal a cascade of stairs permeable to sifting gas 8th is built in. In the drawing to the right of the staircase cascade 8th there is an inflow channel 3 , through the sighting gas into the housing G can flow in. Granular material to be sifted falls over one above the viewing zone SZ at the top of the case G existing material entry opening 2 for Sichgut on the staircase cascade, where it trickles over the cascades and is traversed by the sifting gas flowing in from the right. That in the V-classifier 1 incoming classifying gas, namely air or hot exhaust gas, leaves the housing G via at least one outflow channel 5a , 5b , wherein the classifying gas is loaded with fine material which is itself suspended in the classifying gas. The cascade of stairs 8th opposite and through a viewing zone SZ separate, blind-like, one on top of the other, sight floods 7th direct the sifting flow in a vertical direction, where the sifting material is separated into fractions of different grain sizes by gravity and the sifting gas flowing upwards. The fine material suspended in the classifying gas leaves the V-classifier 1 via the outflow channels 5a and 5b . The coarse material falling down in the sifting gas in the sifting zone, on the other hand, falls into one below the sifting zone SZ at the bottom of the case G through a material discharge opening 4th for the coarse material to the outside, below the V-classifier. In order to scale the performance of separators, the prior art provides for several separators and the inflow channels to be operated 3 of the various V-classifiers via a Y-line 6th as a supply line, generally through a line with branches, to be supplied with sifting gas. This can give rise to problems for maintaining an optimal operating state for each individual V-classifier if the classifying gas pressure in the supply line at the individual V-classifiers is already slightly different.

In 2 is a sectional drawing along the in 5 shown section line through a classifier according to the invention 100 shown. According to the present invention it is provided that at least two opposing individual classifiers 100 ' , 100 " via a common pressure compensation chamber DAK are pneumatically connected to each other, via which the classifying gas into the respective inflow channels 103 ' , 103 " of at least two individual judges 100 ' , 100 " flows. In the exemplary variant shown here, there are two individual classifiers 100 ' and 100 " , both of which are part of the sifter 100 via the pressure equalization chamber DAK connected to one another, the entire opening of the grid wall present in the inflow channels 109 , 109 ' free to the pressure equalization chamber. This is the free cross section of the inflow channels 103 , 103 ' not reduced by a pipe cross-section of a supply line. This has the advantage that no pressure fluctuations can build up and so can the individual sifters 100 ' and 100 " can be operated with a synchronous operating state. The pressure equalization chamber between the at least two individual sifters is delimited by a roof D. , a floor B. and a back surface R. ( 4th ) and a front wall not shown here by the cutting line. An inflow channel leads into the pressure equalization chamber 103 , which is as central as possible between the individual viewers 100 ' and 100 " is arranged. The single viewers 100 ' and 100 " have a similar structure to the V-classifier from the prior art. These sift coarse material into a fraction of fine material and a fraction of coarse material. Both single viewers 100 ' , 100 " have a cohesive housing G in which with an angle α deviating from the horizontal a cascade of stairs permeable to sifting gas 108 , 108 ' is built in. In the drawing between the two cascades of stairs 108 and 108 ' there is an inflow channel 103 , through the classifying gas into the pressure equalization chamber DAK can flow in. Grainy material to be viewed falls over one above the respective viewing zone SZ , SZ ' a single viewer each 100 ' , 102 " at the top of the case G existing material entry opening 102 , 102 " for yourself on the respective staircase cascade 108 , 108 ' , where it trickles over the cascades and is flowed through by the centrally flowing sifting gas. The classifying gas flowing into the respective individual classifier, namely air or hot exhaust gas, leaves the housing G via at least one outflow channel 105a , 105a ' , 105b and 105b ' , wherein the classifying gas is loaded with fine material which is itself suspended in the classifying gas. The respective staircase cascade 108 , 108 ' opposite and through a viewing zone SZ 'SZ' separate, blind-like, one on top of the other sight floods 107 , 107 ' direct the sifting flow in a vertical direction, where the sifting material is separated into fractions of different grain sizes by gravity and the sifting gas flowing upwards. That suspended in the sifting gas Fine material leaves the respective individual sifter 100 ' , 100 " via the outflow channels 105a , 105a ' and 105b , 105b ' . The coarse material falling down in the sifting gas in the sifting zone, however, falls into one below the sifting zone SZ 'SZ' on the underside of the housing G present cut material discharge opening 104 , 104 ' for the coarse material to the outside, below the respective individual classifier 100 ' , 100 " .

In 3 is an extension of the classifier 100 shown in which on the outflow channels 105a , 105a ' one rod basket sifter each 200 , 200 ' is placed in order to further separate the fine material suspended in the classifying gas. The proportions shown here between individual viewers 100 ' , 100 " and rod basket sifter 200 , 200 ' are not true to scale. The interconnection is essentially shown here. It is possible that each one outflow channels 105a , 105a ' has its own rod cage sifter assigned to it. Alternatively, it is also possible that the outflow channels 105a and 105a ' connect and guide the classifying gas with the fine material suspended in it into a common rod basket classifier.

A particular embodiment of the classifier according to the invention is shown in FIG 4th as a sifter 300 shown. In this three pairs of rows of individual classifiers are arranged in a battery-like row so that a central pressure equalization chamber DAK supplies the six individual sifters with classifying gas. Here is the pressure equalization chamber DAK delimited by a floor B. , a roof D. , a back wall R. and a front wall not shown here. The coarse material falling out of the individual sifters is transported on conveyor belts 150 and 150 transported away to give it back into a classifying or grinding circuit.

In 5 the sifter is off 2 shown in a view from above. The pressure equalization chamber DAK In this embodiment of the invention, the volume is comparatively large compared to the volume of the individual sifters, so that pressure fluctuations between the two individual sifters are avoided. Due to the large volume pressure compensation chamber DAK it is also possible to have more than two individual views 100 ' , 100 " via a common pressure compensation chamber DAK to be coupled together pneumatically. In 6th are two pairs of single viewers 100 ' , 100 " , 100 '" , 100 "" Via a cross arrangement via a common pressure compensation chamber to a sifter 400 pneumatically coupled to each other. This variant can be increased so that, as in 7th shown, even 8 individual classifiers in a star-shaped arrangement to form a classifier 500 are coupled to each other.
