Description

  • The presented invention relates to a method for situation-dependent control of at least one system of a vehicle and a control system for a vehicle.
  • Modern vehicles include a variety of complex systems, some of which are to be controlled by multiple-use switches or buttons. In particular, in road traffic, a driver is distracted by a control of such systems to be controlled and placed in dangerous situations. To relieve the driver, methods and devices are needed that are easy and fast to control.
  • The German publication DE 10 2015 207 963 A1 discloses a method in which action recommendations are displayed to a user of a vehicle in situations where a problem is detected.
  • In the publication WO 2013 011 354 A1 discloses a system configured to determine a current degree of distraction of a user and, when a threshold is exceeded by the degree of distraction, to provide a deactivation signal to deactivate systems to be controlled by the user.
  • A method in which a color of a display is changed when a driver looks at the display in a dangerous situation is in the German publication DE 10 2014 214 701 A1 disclosed.
  • Against this background, it was an object of the present invention to provide a method with a user's improved assistance in operating a vehicle compared with the prior art. In order to achieve the object mentioned above, a method for situation-dependent control of at least one system of a vehicle is presented in which a current situation of the vehicle is detected by means of at least one sensor of the vehicle. It is provided that at least one control process for the at least one system of the vehicle is assigned to the currently detected situation by means of an assignment table. It is further provided that an input element for controlling the at least one control process is provided to a user of the vehicle by means of the user interface.
  • Embodiments of the present invention will become apparent from the description and the dependent claims.
  • The presented invention serves, in particular, to provide at least one input element that enables control of functions of a vehicle that is optimized or adapted for a currently recognized situation. For this purpose, it is provided that a current situation of a vehicle is detected. In order to detect a situation of the vehicle, it is provided that an interior and / or an environment of the vehicle is monitored or detected by means of at least one sensor, such as a camera system. In particular, it is provided that in order to detect or classify a current situation of the vehicle, a behavior of users present in the vehicle, such as, for example, a driver, is detected and evaluated. Furthermore, a situation can be detected by analyzing navigation data of the vehicle, such as, for example, a current position of the vehicle and / or a current route on which the vehicle is moved.
  • On the basis of data recorded by means of respective sensors of a vehicle, such as a navigation device, on a route course of the vehicle and / or data determined by means of, for example, an eye movement camera on a viewing direction of a user can be based on an intuition, i. H. a goal of the user being closed. Thus, for example, it can be assumed that when the user is looking at an entertainment system of the vehicle, the user would like to change a setting of the entertainment system. Furthermore, the user's intuition can be determined based on the assumption that the user would like to reach a current navigation destination as quickly as possible in compliance with current traffic regulations. Taking into account navigation data of a vehicle and a recognized attention of the user to an entertainment system, for example, a situation can be identified in which the user wishes to be entertained with his favorite music for a duration of a journey.
  • It is conceivable that a current situation of a vehicle is detected by comparing data acquired by respective sensors of the vehicle with predetermined patterns of sensor data for selected situations. Furthermore, it is conceivable that respective patterns of sensor data for selected situations are learned dynamically by means of a machine learner. In this case, for example, data from sensors of the following list of sensors or a combination thereof can be used to detect a situation: GPS receiver, speedometer, motion meter, gyroscope, interior monitoring system, camera, microphone or eye-tracking device.
  • As soon as a current situation of a vehicle has been detected, ie data determined by respective sensors of a vehicle have been assigned to a situation, it is possible by means of a Mapping table at least one control process for at least one system of the vehicle of the currently detected situation are assigned. In this case, the allocation table can be fixed or updated continuously by means of a machine learner. For example, it is conceivable that updated mappings of control operations to a situation to a given vehicle determined by a machine learning in a laboratory environment are taken into account and the vehicle takes into account the updated control operations in an association for recognizing a situation by means of the mapping table.
  • In order to allow a respective user an optimized or adapted control of a respective vehicle or vehicle system for a currently recognized situation, it is provided according to the invention that an input element for controlling respective control processes associated with the detected situation is provided to a user of the vehicle by means of the user interface.
  • In the context of the present invention, a situation of a vehicle is to be understood in particular to mean a state of a vehicle. A situation of a vehicle is determined by both a state of respective components of the vehicle, i. H. For example, determined or defined by related operating parameters of the individual components as well as by an interaction of the vehicle with an environment of the vehicle or an interior of the vehicle. Accordingly, a situation of a vehicle may, for example, change depending on a behavior of occupants of the vehicle and / or depending on obstacles occurring in an environment of the vehicle.
  • In the context of the present invention, an input element is to be understood as any control element to be activated or controlled by a user, such as a command to be provided by voice or a control symbol to be touched on a touchscreen.
  • The inventively provided input element is used for control, d. H. in particular for activating or deactivating control processes which have been selected as a function of a currently detected situation or have been assigned as a function of a currently detected situation. Accordingly, it can be provided that, depending on the detected situation, an input element, such as a button, a first function or a second function activated.
  • By the inventively provided allocation of at least one respective selected depending on a currently detected situation control process to one or more input elements, a respective user can control or activate the at least one control process directly or comfortably or safely. It is conceivable that the input element may be on different channels, i. H. for example, as a voice command and a control icon, and the user can optionally use a voice command or the control icon to control the at least one control operation.
  • In one possible refinement of the presented method, it is provided that the at least one input element is configured to set the at least one system of the vehicle to the currently recognized situation by merely inputting the user by a plurality of control processes associated with the currently detected situation Activation of at least one input element to be executed.
  • In particular, in a situation where a plurality of systems of a respective vehicle are to be controlled by a plurality of control operations, the at least one input element provided according to the invention greatly simplifies a control operation for a user. By using an input element that provides only a single input, such as a pressure or a touch, by the method presented, a complex chain of control operations that would cost a particular user a lot of time and attention using the prior art can quickly and simply started or controlled.
  • In a further possible embodiment of the presented method, it is provided that a display of information to be displayed on the user interface is adapted as a function of the currently recognized situation.
  • In order, for example, to display a situation-dependent provision of an input element to a user, it may be provided that information displayed on a user interface of a respective vehicle, which includes, for example, a plurality of display units, is adapted, ie. H. For example, be displayed in a compared to a normal operation changed color scheme.
  • Of course, it can also be provided that, for example, control symbols which are to be operated in a normal mode are hidden and only one input element or respective input elements to be assigned to a currently recognized situation is or are displayed.
  • In a further possible embodiment of the presented method, it is provided that upon activation of the input element, the user is offered various control processes for selection, wherein selected configurations of at least one system of the vehicle are selected as control processes depending on the currently detected situation of the vehicle.
  • In order to enable a user to control a large number of alternative control processes, as are typical, for example, for complex situations, provision may be made for the user to be presented with further options for action when activating a respective input element. This means that a user, after activating an input element, is provided with further input elements which trigger different control processes. In this way, for example, a decision tree can be presented to the user, within which the user can decide on a concrete set of control processes. In this case, the user can be a planning different control operations are removed and the user will only be involved if a decision of the user, for example, due to a complex information situation or a variety of alternative control processes, is imperative.
  • In a further possible embodiment of the presented method, it is provided that in the event that a plurality of alternative control processes are assigned to a currently detected situation, a control process is automatically selected from the plurality of alternative control processes depending on information about the vehicle and / or the user.
  • In order to automatically select a control process from a plurality of alternative control processes, it may be provided that information about a respective user and / or a respective vehicle is evaluated. For example, a digital profile of the user or a digital profile of the vehicle, which can be stored on a server, for example, can be evaluated. Furthermore, data determined by means of the at least one sensor provided according to the invention can be evaluated in order, for example, to determine a preferred music direction of the user and to select respective pieces of music from a multiplicity of alternatively available pieces of music. It may also be provided, for example, that an application is selected from a large number of possible applications, ie. H. for example, is downloaded from a server that is, for example, compatible with a user's mobile phone or an interface of the vehicle.
  • In a further possible embodiment of the presented method, it is provided that a situation of the vehicle is detected on the basis of a comparison of predetermined characteristics with data determined by the at least one sensor of the vehicle.
  • By predetermined features, such as a density of houses located in an environment of a respective vehicle, a situation can be described and finally detected by means of an adjustment of corresponding sensor data determined by a vehicle. The features may, for example, be predetermined or provided dynamically by means of a machine learner. For this purpose, the machine learner can, for example, assign a current situation or respective characteristics characteristic of the current situation to a respective control action carried out by a user.
  • In order to inform a respective user about a cause of a currently detected situation, it can be provided that those features in the respective data determined by the at least one sensor provided according to the invention, on the basis of which a situation was detected, are marked on a user interface.
  • In a further possible embodiment of the presented method, it is provided that an acknowledgment for carrying out the at least one control process is selected as the input element.
  • In order to enable a respective user to activate a control process as quickly and intuitively as possible, an input element which acts only as confirmation for carrying out the control process is particularly suitable. For this purpose, a user, for example, an input element can be displayed, which carries the lettering "Activate function X".
  • Furthermore, the presented invention relates to a control system for a vehicle, with a user interface and a control unit, wherein the control unit is configured to match determined by at least one sensor of the vehicle data with predetermined characteristics and depending on a result of the adjustment of a current situation of the vehicle classify. It is provided that the control unit is further configured to associate by means of a mapping table at least one control operation for controlling at least one system of the vehicle of the current situation and to provide a user of the vehicle via the user interface an input element for controlling the at least one control operation.
  • The presented control system is used in particular for carrying out the presented method.
  • Further advantages and embodiments will become apparent from the description and the accompanying drawings.
  • It is understood that the features mentioned above and those yet to be explained below can be used not only in the particular combination indicated, but also in other combinations or in isolation, without departing from the scope of the present invention.
  • The invention is schematically illustrated by means of embodiments in the drawings and will be described schematically and in detail with reference to the drawings.
