Abstract

Description

  • The invention relates to a display device for seats of a rail vehicle car and a rail vehicle with a display device.
  • It is known that in rail vehicles there are indications indicating whether seats are reserved or not. These displays are mounted in an interior of the rail car, so that travelers can see the ads only after boarding. This is known to cause an unpleasant crowd among the travelers.
  • The DE 20 2006 016 381 U1 describes a reservation message for a seat or berth, eg in a railway carriage. The reservation announcement is arranged inside in the railway carriage. Although this is visible from a greater distance, depending on the selected font size, travelers can only start looking for a free or reserved seat after boarding.
  • The DE 10 2008 018 938 A1 discloses a display device coupled to a detection device for detecting occupied and vacant seats in a rail car wagon. The indicator is located on an outside of the carriage. With the help of the display device free and occupied seats in the rail vehicle car are displayed schematically. The disadvantage here is that a passenger can only search for a special reserved seat after boarding.
  • The JP 3202274 U relates to a train on the outside of which displays for seating numbers are arranged below or above windows at which numbered seats are located. The problem here is the arrangement of the displays, because these are either integrated into a car body wall or placed on a car body wall. This requires increased production costs.
  • The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a display device and a rail vehicle with a display device by means of which a passenger of a rail car can recognize before boarding, where there is a reserved or free seat for the passenger, the display simply mounted or can be installed.
  • This object is achieved with a display device according to claim 1. Furthermore, the object is achieved with a rail vehicle vehicle according to claim 10. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are contained in the subclaims.
  • According to the invention, the object is achieved in a display device for seats of a rail vehicle vehicle, wherein the display device comprises a plurality of displays, each indicating at least one seat location in an interior of the rail vehicle and on the outside of the rail vehicle. Within at least one window frame of the rail vehicle car at least one display is arranged.
  • An advantage of the invention is that a passenger of a rail vehicle car can already recognize before boarding, where there is a reserved or free seat for the passenger. It is possible that displays in the interior of the railroad car have a different design than displays for displaying the seat numbers to the outside, in which case only the displays are arranged within the window frame, the seating properties indicate to the outside. It is also possible that displays in the interior and for displays to the outside of the same design, in which case all the displays are arranged within window frames. It is also conceivable that a central display with an overview of seats of the rail vehicle car is arranged in a window frame of an entrance door.
  • In particular, the seat feature is a seat number and / or a reservation status and / or occupancy status. These seat features make it easier for a passenger to search for a particular seat number, a seat without a reservation, or an actual free seat.
  • Preferably, the display is integrated in a window and arranged in particular on an upper edge or on a lower edge of the window frame. As a result, displays can already be integrated into windows during the manufacture of windows. The displays are thus protected against damage. In an arrangement of the displays on the upper edges or lower edges of the window frame remains for the passengers a clear view through the windows. The displays may e.g. be rectangular and along the upper edges or lower edges of the windows or the window frame. As a result, a space requirement for the displays is kept low.
  • In a special embodiment of the invention, the display device has first displays, which are readable in the interior of the rail vehicle, and the display device has second Displays that are readable from the outside. The first displays may have a different design and / or a different format than the second displays. As a result, the creative freedom in the design of the displays is increased.
  • In particular, the first displays are arranged on upper edges of the window frames and the second displays are arranged on lower edges of the window frames. The first displays are thus located in the interior above headrests or in areas of headrests and are easy to read for passengers who stand or walk in the interior. The second displays are well readable by passengers on a platform.
  • In an alternative embodiment, the displays are readable on both sides and indicate the seat feature both in the interior of the rail vehicle and on the outside. This reduces the manufacturing effort, since only a small number of displays is needed.
  • In addition, the seat feature may be labeled with a first light signal indicating that the seat is reserved, or the seat feature may be labeled with a second light signal indicating that the seat is unreserved. In this way, finding a special reserved place is even easier. In addition, passengers without a reservation can also quickly find a seat. The light signal may be a color signal and / or e.g. be a flashing and / or symbol.
  • Further, the seat feature may include a first light flag indicating that the seat is actually occupied, or the seat feature may include a second light flag indicating that the seat is actually vacant. This is an advantage if a reserved seat is left empty or an unreserved seat is occupied. The light indicator may be a color signal and / or e.g. be a flashing and / or symbol.
  • In particular, the seat feature may only be visible from the outside when the rail car is at a platform. Outside of platforms, a display is not required, so that electrical energy can be saved.
