  • Security papers or documents of value are often provided with security features, such as watermarks, embedded security threads and the like, which permit verification of the authenticity of the security paper or value document and which at the same time serve as protection against unauthorized reproduction.
  • In the past, authenticity features that can only be introduced into the security paper during production, such as watermarks, chemically reacting additives, mottled fibers or security threads that are completely or partially embedded in the security paper, have proven to be very effective. In this case, security threads which are neither completely applied to a surface of a security paper nor completely embedded in the security paper are referred to as window security threads.   • For the purposes of the invention, a paper-layer-producing device is a device, in particular a sheet-forming unit, for producing a paper web.
