Description

  • The invention relates to a device connector for a Radardensor with a protection device against water ingress for a vehicle. Furthermore, the invention relates to a radar sensor with a device plug.
  • The device connectors known from the prior art for vehicle Radardensoren have a housing with a connector housing. The connector housing is connected to a ventilation duct. One end of the connector housing is closed by means of a plastic cap to prevent water from entering the device connector.
  • A disadvantage of the prior art is that the plastic cap is a special part that is expensive to produce and is associated with high production costs.
  • The object of the present invention is therefore to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a closure means which can be produced cost-effectively and which enables venting of the appliance plug.
  • The object is achieved in particular by a device connector for a Radardensor for a vehicle having a housing, wherein the housing has a ventilation housing with a ventilation duct and the ventilation housing at a first end has an open cross-section which is closed by means of an agent, wherein the means is introduced into the ventilation housing for venting the device plug.
  • The object is further achieved according to the invention by a radar detector for a vehicle having a device connector.
  • Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the further subclaims.
  • The particular advantage of the invention is that by providing the means an air exchange between the device connector and outdoor air through the ventilation duct can easily take place and at the same time an improved protection against Wassereintirtt is achieved in the connector housing.

Claims (10)

  1.
