  • According to the invention this object is achieved by a brake pipe fitting according to claim 1 and a connection arrangement with a brake pipe fitting according to claim 6.

  • In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the insertion portion of the brake pipe fitting adjacent to the connection portion for the brake pipe on an annular holding portion. The holding portion may be further configured to provide a stop or abutment surface which abuts against a corresponding stop in the insertion cavity and provides a defined insertion position.
