Description
The invention relates to a motor vehicle according to the preamble of
For the purposes of the present description, the usual direction of travel of a motor vehicle with "-x" ("minus x"), the direction contrary to its usual direction of travel with "+ x" ("plus x"), starting from the usual direction (-x ) the direction in the horizontal transverse to the x-direction to the right seen with "+ y", starting from the usual direction of travel (-x) the direction in the horizontal transverse to the x-direction to the left seen with "-y", the direction in the vertical direction, seen transversely to the x-direction upward with "+ z", and the direction in the vertical transverse to the x-direction seen downwards with "-z". This designation of the spatial directions in Cartesian coordinates corresponds to the coordinate system commonly used in the automotive industry. Moreover, terms such as "front," "rear," "top," "bottom," and terms of similar meaning, including the terms "right" and "left" are used in the manner commonly used for directional designation on a motor vehicle.
In addition, for some time vehicles in the so-called coupe-style are known, which are attractive and aerodynamically advantageous by their flat roof line, namely a roof line, which is guided sloping to the vehicle rear. Especially in coupe vehicles with rear and rear seats, the headspace is usually limited in height due to the said flat roofline. Since motor vehicles, in particular passenger cars per se and accordingly also such coupe vehicles are occupied on average with less than three persons, there is a need, while maintaining the aerodynamic advantages of the motor vehicle, in particular coupe vehicle, a necessary or extended headspace for rear passengers only to be provided if necessary. This is where the invention described below begins.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a motor vehicle with a pop-up roof, which provides, if necessary, a necessary or extended headspace for rear passengers without the aerodynamically advantageous properties of the motor vehicle, which it has conventionally to mitigate.
Starting from a motor vehicle, in particular a coupe vehicle with a headroom minimizing in particular of rear passengers, sloping down the vehicle roof roof of a vehicle roof, which has a roof side members and roof cross member formed roof frame, in which a vehicle transverse direction (y- Direction) facing pivot axis pivotable pitch roof is arranged, the object is achieved in that the pop-up roof when occupying the motor vehicle with rear passengers in case of need from a first, lower operating position in a headroom of the rear passengers improving second, upper operating position can be transferred , This has the advantage that, in particular, in motor vehicles with a sloping down to the vehicle rear roof line, as it is recorded in coupe vehicles, if necessary without significantly affecting the aerodynamically advantageous properties of the motor vehicle, which it has conventionally or normally, the headroom of the rear passengers can be increased.
Die Unteransprüche beschreiben bevorzugte Weiterbildungen oder Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung. The subclaims describe preferred developments or refinements of the invention.
Thereafter, according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the opening roof is arranged in the first operating position below an upper edge of the roof side rail. This has the advantage that the opening roof in its second, upper operating position, in which preferably the pitch roof in the raised state laterally approximately closes with the upper edge of the roof side rails of the roof frame, on the one hand in terms of the prior art, the aerodynamics of the roof surface of the motor vehicle is improved by lateral air currents impinging on the raised Aufstelldach are prevented and on the other the attractive appearance of the motor vehicle, in particular coupe vehicle, is maintained. A further improvement of said aerodynamics of the roof surface and appearance of the motor vehicle is achieved by the fact that the pitch roof is covered by a flexible clamping roof. By means of such a clamping roof, which has a z. B. color provided in the vehicle or can be known from convertible vehicles with soft top flexible roof skin, any existing gaps, gaps and continuity jumps in the roof surface are advantageously covered or laminated. In this case, the flexible clamping roof preferably extends at least on the front and rear sides of the motor vehicle on the pitch roof and is fixed at least front and rear on a vehicle-fixed part, such as a roof cross member of the roof frame. If a rear wing is arranged on the motor vehicle, the flexible tensioning roof is further preferably fixed on the rear side thereof, whereby the course of the air flowing around the vehicle can be further optimized or optimized even when the installation roof is raised. In this case, a wing or rear wing is understood to mean an air-guiding element on a motor vehicle in which both the upper side and the underside thereof are overflowed. A wing can work largely aerodynamically independent or cause additional effects in interaction with the body aerodynamics as in this case. In order to prevent or at least to influence the lateral and / or rearward penetration of air through the raised installation roof into the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle, provision is further made for the installation roof to have side walls and a rear wall in the second, upper operating position. The side walls and / or the rear wall can be flexible or rigid. Moreover, these may be at least partially permeable to air and / or at least partially transparent, in order to meet a wide variety of requirements with regard to the aerodynamic behavior of the motor vehicle and / or certain comfort wishes of the vehicle users. In a further development of the invention is further provided that in rigidly formed side walls and / or in a rigidly formed rear wall both the pitch roof and the side walls and / or the rear wall having an elongated sealing member which correspond with a sealing flange of the roof frame such that in the first, lower or lowered operating position of the Aufstelldaches the arranged on the roof pitch sealing element comes into effect by this sealingly abuts an upper contact surface of the sealing flange, and that in the second, upper or erect operating position of the Aufstelldaches the arranged on the side walls and the rear wall sealing element comes into effect by this sealingly abuts a lower contact surface of the sealing flange. Particularly advantageously, the side walls and / or the rear wall can also be formed by a separate sealing frame, which in turn is arranged between the roof frame and the opening roof. Such a sealing frame makes it possible to effect any desired ventilation by the erection roof is formed erectable beyond the sealing frame.
