  • The truck according to the invention is equipped with a control unit which is connected via a bus system with sensors and actuators of the vehicle and placed on the control signals for actuators and sensor signals of the sensors are read. Furthermore, the control unit is equipped with a touch-sensitive display, which is connected to the control unit for exchanging data and control signals.   • In a preferred continuation of the truck according to the invention, the presentation and control programs can be loaded externally into the computer unit. The warehouse management program runs as an application on the truck's display and thus makes data from the higher-level warehouse management transparent to the truck driver.
  • In a preferred embodiment, the computer unit and the touch-sensitive display are designed as a portable device, for which a holder is provided on the truck. The portable display, such as a smartphone or a tablet computer can be wired connected via an interface to the bus system of the truck or exchange line independently via a radio interface with the bus system data.

  • All data of the drive controls with their actuators and sensors as well as the control commands of the control levers run in the on-board computer 32 together.   • The programs can be divided into vehicle application programs, additional functions and design programs. Programs for displaying the driving speed, for displaying the battery level and for indicating the lifting height can be provided in the vehicle technical programs. Every single program has the possibility of displaying the corresponding data on the display in a multitude of different display modes, for example via a digital display, an analogue pointer with a scale or via a diagram.
  • In addition, programs for displaying the coolant temperature, the tank level and other vehicle states may also be provided. These programs can be purchased by the user or operator of the truck directly with the vehicle or purchased separately.
